Locums Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician in North Carolina - Block Schedule

Obstetrics and Gynecology locums opportunity in North Carolina near Asheville, offering flexible block scheduling with a mix of clinic, OR, and call coverage.


Highlights

  • Block scheduling with only 1 week per month required
  • 3 to 4 month assignment with extension potential
  • Balanced mix of clinic and inpatient care
  • Established, collaborative physician team


Practice Setting

  • Community hospital and outpatient clinic
  • Support from physicians, APP, and full clinic staff
  • Adult and adolescent patient population
  • Strong team-based environment


Schedule

  • Monday through Friday clinic hours
  • Dedicated weekly OR day
  • 1 in 3 call rotation including weekends
  • Flexible block coverage; choose your weeks


Cases and Procedures

  • Approximately 300 annual deliveries
  • VBACs and select high-risk pregnancies
  • Heavier gynecology focus in clinic
  • Full OB and postpartum care


Requirements

  • Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician
  • Active North Carolina license
  • ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
