The Contractor shall provide event management support for Mplify’s Global NaaS Events Series, a year-round member engagement platform which includes two Summits (EMEA, Americas) virtual events/webinars and regional workshops. This position works in close collaboration with the Director Global Events. The scope of services includes the following responsibilities:

The Event Sales Manager is responsible for event sales and all related duties: event prospecting, revenue strategy, logistics planning, and client communication. Additionally they are responsible for conveying event details to the internal operations team and ensuring that events are planned in a manner that operations can execute. - Creates and manages BEOs and event contracts, including programming and special initiatives, as requested.

- Maintains and ensures accuracy of event management systems, including Tripleseat; provides training, mentorship, and technical guidance to team members on proper system utilization and reporting standards.
- Demonstrates financial literacy related to private events, including generating monthly revenue reports and bi-weekly forecast reports; reviewing events for financial accuracy prior to closeout; and partnering with Operations on event-related financial inquiries.
- Develops and executes a structured prospecting strategy to drive private event revenue during low-demand periods and maximize performance during peak seasons; identifies growth opportunities and implements targeted initiatives to capture market share.
- Develops and maintains a robust network of local, national, and international contacts within the New York market; actively prospects new business opportunities; attends industry and networking events to generate qualified leads.
- Identifies key calendar opportunities (e.g., NYFW, Frieze Art Week, Tech Week, and similar citywide events) and develops targeted outreach strategies to capture related private event business.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable insurance requirements, contractual obligations, health and safety standards, and venue policies in connection with private events.
- Conducts post-event follow-up with clients to obtain feedback, finalize billing, address payment inquiries, and cultivate repeat business opportunities.
- Reports to the Director of Events & Marketing and collaborates closely with Food & Beverage, Operations, and Culinary Management to ensure departmental alignment.

Opportunity
ChartRequest is looking to add a dynamic Event Marketing Manager to our growing team in the Scottsdale, AZ market. This role is central to our 2026 market expansion strategy and will be the primary driver of pipeline generation through conferences, trade shows, healthcare summits, and field marketing programs. The ideal candidate is an organized, creative, and results-oriented professional who can own the entire event lifecycle — from strategy and logistics to lead capture and ROI measurement.
This role will work closely with the Sales and Client Services teams to ensure events are positioned as high-value pipeline and brand-building activities. You will report to the VP of Marketing / VP of Sales and be a key contributor to the Customer Acquisition Committee and Sales LVL10 meetings.
Primary Responsibilities
• Event Planning & Execution. Own the end-to-end planning and execution of ChartRequest's presence at trade shows, healthcare conferences, regional summits, and company-hosted events (8–12 events per year). Manage logistics, vendor relationships, booth setup, travel coordination, and on-site staffing.
• Pipeline & Lead Generation. Partner with the Sales team to develop pre-event outreach campaigns, on-site engagement strategies, and post-event follow-up sequences designed to drive qualified pipeline. Track and report on event-sourced leads, opportunities, and closed revenue.
• Budget Management & ROI Tracking. Develop, own, and report on the event marketing budget. Analyze cost-per-lead, cost-per-opportunity, and overall event ROI to inform future investment decisions. Present findings at Customer Acquisition Committee meetings.
• Brand Representation & Activation. Ensure ChartRequest is consistently and compellingly represented at every event. Collaborate with Marketing and Design to produce booth materials, collateral, branded swag, and presentations that reinforce our market position.
• CRM & Marketing Operations. Capture, log, and track all event contacts in HubSpot. Ensure seamless handoffs to Business Development and Client Services teams. Leverage data insights to continuously refine targeting and engagement strategies.
• Industry & Community Presence. Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare associations, conference organizers, and industry communities in the Southwest and nationally. Identify and evaluate new event opportunities aligned with ChartRequest’s growth markets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration. Participate in weekly LVL10 Sales and Customer Acquisition meetings. Collaborate with Product and Client Services teams to ensure event messaging aligns with current solutions and client success stories.

Required Qualifications & Experience
• 3–5+ years of event marketing, field marketing, or trade show management experience in a B2B environment (Healthcare or SaaS preferred)
• Proven track record of executing events that generate measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes
• Experience managing event budgets ranging from $50K–$500K+ annually
• Proficiency with HubSpot or a comparable CRM/marketing automation platform
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to internal leadership and engaging with external stakeholders
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing vendors and cross-functional teams under tight deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Scottsdale/Phoenix metro area

Compensation
This role carries a starting base salary of $60,000 with an On Target Earnings (OTE) of $69,000, reflecting a 15% variable compensation component tied to event pipeline generation, lead targets, and marketing performance metrics. Additional performance above target is recognized and rewarded.
Hybrid Policy
This is a hybrid role based in Scottsdale, AZ. Team members are expected to be available for in-person collaboration at the Scottsdale/Phoenix office and are required to attend and staff events locally and nationally as needed. Some travel (25–40%) should be expected.
