Job Summary

Plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to principles and practices of occupational therapy. Participates in operational and clinical functions for the department, hospital and corporation. Essential Functions

- Performs appropriate initial occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations and designs an occupational therapy plan of care

- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of diagnoses/conditions seen in occupational therapy

- Selects, performs, and interprets the results of OT examinations of neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and pulmonary systems

- Performs and interprets standardized evaluations appropriate for the patient

- Identifies actual or potential problems that would impact the OT treatment plan as well as the overall patient plan of care

- Establishes specific treatment goals based on the results of the initial assessment

- Designs the treatment plan appropriate for the patient's age, educational level, and cultural background

The Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy of the Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute, primarily located at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, seeks a highly skilled and compassionate physician leader with expertise in Hematology and Cellular Therapy (HSCT and CAR-T). This position offers a Division Chief leadership role in a growing and dynamic Hematology and Cellular Therapy program dedicated to clinical and translational research as well as exceptional patient care.

The Division Chief works with the AHN Cancer Institute Chair and other leaders to develop and implement strategy and processes for patients under the care of the Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy. The Division Chief shall also maintain all current and future standards of care, both inpatient and outpatient as well as accreditations needed to assure service for the region. The Division Chief will maintain the same standards and accreditations for subdivisions of the Cell Processing and Molecular Hematology Laboratory. The Division Chief will assume responsibilities for research and development within the division and connect these activities to the larger goals of the AHN Cancer Institute. The successful candidate will be considered for the role of Division Chief of the Hematology and Cellular therapy Program.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • Board-certified in Hematology and/or oncology
  • Completion of an ACGME-approved Hematology/Oncology Fellowship
  • Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
  • 7+ years of experience in hematology/oncology
  • Extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of hematological malignancy
  • Significant experience in all aspects of cellular therapy
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills

The College of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor in Music Therapy to lead the development of music therapy. This is a non-tenure-track nine-month renewable position beginning on September 1, 2026.


The College seeks a music therapist and educator who is passionate and experienced with program development, community engagement, and interdisciplinary study. The ideal candidate has strong music skills, familiarity with accreditation and licensure, and a willingness to work with a variety of institutional stakeholders. The successful candidate will be expected to direct the development of a bachelor's degree in music therapy, recruit new students, as well as teach appropriate undergraduate and graduate offerings in related interdisciplinary programs (education, psychology, health sciences, and nursing).


The appointed individual will be responsible for teaching a variety music therapy courses as well as at least one general music course aligned with the candidates' areas of expertise and experience. Alongside leading program development and teaching, this individual will advise students, contribute to curriculum development, serve on departmental and college committees, as well as perform other tasks as assigned to support the objectives of the Department.


Minimum qualifications:



  • ABD in doctoral degree in music therapy or a closely related therapy field.
  • Board Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC).
  • Experience with undergraduate teaching.
  • Qualified to teach at least one course in music fundamentals, class piano, or ear training.
  • Evidence of capacity to collaborate with colleagues and/or faculty from other disciplines and staff collegially.

  • Minimum of three years of full-time clinical experience in music therapy or its equivalent.
  • Additional training in advanced models of music therapy (e.g. Creative Music Therapy, Guided Imagery and Music, Vocal Psychotherapy, Analytical Music Therapy).
  • Experience with music therapy in pre-K - 12 settings or with school-aged clients

Summary: Provide Occupational Therapy and related services for patients under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) while maintaining positive levels of interaction with facilities and clients in accordance with the principles and practices of occupational therapy and within Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Summary:
Provides Physical Therapy Services to patients referred, including assessment, treatment plan development and implementation with the follow-up and discharge planning. Actively assists with clinical aspects of the department, including program development, department operations and Performance Improvement activities. Assists with supervising and coordinating the Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student programs. In addition, supervises Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and Volunteers.
Responsibilities:
Performs comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine the status of the physical, cognitive abilities of inpatients and outpatients, considering diagnosis and age specific needs.
Develops and implements, with patient/family participation, individualized treatment plans, as indicated, considering diagnosis and age specific needs, with measurable goals and methods to achieve goals.
Adheres consistently to the P&Ps relating to documentation, to include Initial Patient Evaluations, Daily and Weekly Progress notes as required, Discharge Summaries and other notations as appropriate.
