Job Summary
Performs the functions of law enforcement necessary to maintain community interaction, public peace, protect life and property, prevent crime, apprehend violators of the law and otherwise assure proper enforcement of the laws and ordinances of the City of Kirkland and the State of Washington. Contribute to the apprehension of criminal suspects by conducting preliminary and follow-up investigations. This would involve contacting and interviewing witnesses and victims of a crime; sketching, photographing a crime scene; dusting for latent fingerprints; and collecting other evidence and preserving the chain of evidence. The position prepares criminal investigation reports and testifies in court.
**Applicants hired as a Lateral Police Officer for the Kirkland Police Department will receive a $25,000 incentive:
$5,000 to be paid on the first paycheck following the Lateral Officer's hire;
$10,000 to be paid after the Lateral Officer's successful completion of the field training program; and
$10,000 to be paid after the Lateral Officer's successful completion of the probationary period.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
At time of application you must be 21 years of age; a US citizen or a lawful permanent resident, must not have any felony convictions as an adult and have vision correctable to 20/20 in each eye. Must possess the ability to read, write and speak fluent English. Must have the physical capability to successfully meet the Criminal Justice Training Commission Fitness Ability Test Battery. Must have successfully completed an accredited Police Basic Training Academy curriculum and have a minimum of 12 months full-time service in the last 60 months (prefer current) as a sworn municipal, county or state officer. Out of state laterals must complete the State Equivalency Academy. At time of hiring applicant must have a valid Washington State Drivers' License.
All illegal drug use will be closely scrutinized on a case by case basis.
Automatic Disqualifiers: Applicants should not apply if they indicate any of the following disqualifiers:

Adult misdemeanor convictions and juvenile felony convictions will be carefully reviewed.

Working Conditions & Physical Activities
The working environment is characterized by the potential for physical, verbal and psychological assault by prisoners or individuals suspected of crime. Dependent on assignment and task, the work period may be eight to twelve hours a day. Other physical activities include, but are not limited to, operating a patrol vehicle, walking, running, or sitting at a workstation performing administrative tasks. The scope of work performed has the potential for other physical or cardiovascular exertion in the performance of duties. Work is performed in a variety of weather conditions and adverse conditions. Assignments may include but are not limited to Patrol, Investigations, Traffic, Training, Neighborhood Resource Officer, School Resource Officer, Pro-Act Unit, and K-9 after at least 12 months in patrol.
Collateral duty assignments available to commissioned officers are: Special Response Team, Crisis Negotiations Team, Firearms Training Unit, Less Lethal Training Unit, Defensive Tactics, Bicycle Patrol, and Foot Patrol.

Hours of Work
Must be available to work 8 or 10 hour rotating shifts.
Patrol Officers work four 10 hour shifts, followed by three days off. Officers work Monday - Thursday or Thursday - Sunday. Available shifts are days, swing, and nights, and are bid by seniority.
Selection Process

Applicants passing the pre-conditional background investigation will be given a conditional offer of probationary employment. Diet Technician
Identifies patients with nutrition risk factors utilizing standardized nutrition screening criteria in congruence with CDR Diet Technician scope of practice. Refers patients with identified nutrition risk factors to Clinical Dietitians for nutrition assessment and intervention. Collaborates with Clinical Dietitians, Patient Meal services team members and the patient's multidisciplinary team to provide care to patients. For designated patients, monitors for status changes, patient or family questions, care team observations, meal intake, and need for a snack, nutritional supplement, or nutrition education on therapeutic diet. Provides nutrition education materials to patients and patient family members within approved scope. Fosters continuity of care and updates patient's medical health record to communicate changes in patient's nutritional status. Uses standardized patient follow-up criteria for designated patients. Assists Clinical Dietitians with Dietetic Intern competency and training. Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance best practices.

Job Summary:
Diet Technician - Part Time
Identifies patients with nutrition risk factors utilizing standardized nutrition screening criteria in congruence with CDR Diet Technician scope of practice. Refers patients with identified nutrition risk factors to Clinical Dietitians for nutrition assessment and intervention. Collaborates with Clinical Dietitians, Patient Meal services team members and the patient's multidisciplinary team to provide care to patients. For designated patients, monitors for status changes, patient or family questions, care team observations, meal intake, and need for a snack, nutritional supplement, or nutrition education on therapeutic diet. Provides nutrition education materials to patients and patient family members within approved scope. Fosters continuity of care and updates patient's medical health record to communicate changes in patient's nutritional status. Uses standardized patient follow-up criteria for designated patients. Assists Clinical Dietitians with Dietetic Intern competency and training. Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance best practices.

Qualifications:
Required Minimum Education:
- Associate's Degree from an accredited institution with a major in Dietetics required or related field.
- Completion of a Nutrition and Dietetics Technician program accredited by ACEND required.
Required Minimum Experience:
- Six months to one year of related experience highly preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical record charting systems and other software relative to food service systems required.
Required Minimum Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of best practices in the dietetics profession.
- Ability to think critically in screening patients for nutrition risk factors and appropriately escalating to Clinical Dietitians.

Part time Hourly: $22 – $32 / hour — depending on experience, facility, shift differentials, and behavioral health responsibilities.
Position Summary
The Behavioral Health Coordinator (BHC) is responsible for providing on-site behavioral health coordination and support for patients enrolled in Psych Health Associates’ Behavioral Health Integration (BHI) program. This role manages an assigned caseload across multiple post-acute facilities, and ensures timely screenings, coordination activities, communication, and escalation of changes in condition.
The BHC serves as the primary point of contact at assigned facilities for day-to-day behavioral health coordination. Responsibilities include conducting required monthly behavioral health screenings, monitoring for changes in patient status, communicating with facility staff, and escalating clinically relevant information to the BHCM or psychiatric providers when indicated.
This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, cultural competence, the ability to work independently in the field, proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and digital tools, and strict adherence to PHA’s policies, workflows, and documentation standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Coordination & On-Site Support
Manage a caseload of patients enrolled in the behavioral health program. Caseload will be determined based on CMS regulations and VBC programs. Perform monthly behavioral health screenings as required based on individual patient needs and PHA protocols.Identify and promptly escalate changes in condition, safety concerns, or other clinical updates to the BHCM or appropriate clinical team.Support coordination of additional behavioral health services when indicated.
Facility Collaboration
Serve as the primary on-site behavioral health coordination contact for assigned facilities.Communicate with facility leadership, nursing staff, therapy teams, social services, and IDT members to support continuity of behavioral health care.Assist with scheduling, coordination, and on-site logistics to support psychiatric and psychology services.
Documentation & Compliance
Complete required monthly documentation accurately and on time, according to PHA policies and workflows.Maintain patient information, screenings, coordination activities, and communication records within the EHR.Adhere to all documentation, privacy, compliance, and behavioral health workflow standards.
Internal Operations & Escalation
Collaborate with the BHCM on care coordination needs, caseload updates, and workflow execution.Participate in routine check-ins, supervision, and team meetings as assigned.Follow escalation pathways for clinically significant changes, facility concerns, workflow barriers, or safety-related observations.
Travel & Field-Based Expectations
Travel between assigned facilities within a regional territory on a rotating or cycling schedule.Maintain professional conduct and communication across all facilities and patient interactions.
QualificationsRequired
