Position Summary

Virginia Transformer Corp, a leading manufacturer of power transformers and electrical infrastructure solutions, is seeking a Pricing Manager to lead pricing strategy, quotation governance, and margin optimization across the organization.

This role will work closely with sales, engineering, finance, supply chain, and operations to ensure competitive and profitable pricing for transformer products and services. The Pricing Manager will play a key role in supporting the company’s growth by developing data-driven pricing strategies, improving quote accuracy, and enhancing commercial decision-making across utility, renewable energy, industrial, and EPC markets.


Key Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that support revenue growth, margin optimization, and market competitiveness.
  • Establish and maintain pricing policies, guidelines, and approval structures.
  • Evaluate market conditions, competitor pricing, and industry trends to inform pricing decisions.

Quote & Proposal Support

  • Partner with sales and inside sales teams to develop pricing for transformer bids, RFQs, and large project proposals.

  • Ensure pricing structures reflect technical complexity, manufacturing costs, lead times, and project risks.

Cost & Margin Analysis

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor industry trends within power transformers, utilities, EPC projects, renewable energy, and industrial power markets.

Process Improvement & Tools

  • Improve pricing processes and workflows to increase speed, accuracy, and transparency in quoting.

  • Help standardize pricing methodologies across product lines and customer segments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales leadership, finance, engineering, and operations to align pricing decisions with company objectives.
  • Support negotiations on large or strategic customer opportunities.
  • Provide pricing guidance for long-term contracts, framework agreements, and strategic partnerships.


Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field required.

MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience

  • 7–12 years of experience in pricing, commercial finance, sales operations, or strategic pricing.
  • Experience in manufacturing, electrical equipment, power infrastructure, utilities, or industrial markets strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with complex engineered products and project-based pricing environments.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Foreman to lead our field teams and ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Position Overview:

The Electrical Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing on-site field operations for electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate is a skilled leader with extensive hands-on experience in the electrical trade, capable of directing crews, coordinating schedules, and ensuring all work is performed according to code, project specifications, and safety standards. This role requires excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead electrical crews on commercial, industrial, and residential job sites
  • Coordinate daily work activities and ensure timely project completion
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide installations
  • Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes
  • Maintain a safe work environment and enforce all company and OSHA safety policies
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, inspectors, and other trades
  • Assist with material take-offs and coordinate material deliveries
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve issues promptly
  • Mentor and train apprentices and journeymen electricians
  • Document daily progress and submit reports as required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the electrical trade, with at least 2 years in a Foreman or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and industry best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specs and use of Programs on Tablet ,(example Procore)
  • Proficient in managing manpower, scheduling, and coordinating field activities
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Must provide references that can verify leadership capabilities and field experience
