Objective
Under the general direction of the Mfg. Process Engineering Group Manager ensures that ICT failures are analyzed, root cause of the failure is identified and corrective action is implemented.
Essential Responsibilities
REQUIRES 5+ Years direct experience with AGILENT/KEYSIGHT 3070 in-circuit test experience to..
- Perform visual inspection and electrical testing of all ICT failures. Identifies the root cause of the failure based on ICT output file and multi-meter/bridge readings.
- Identify soldering issues with the ICT failed boards based on knowledge of IPC-610 Nidec Mobility Quality Standards.
- Fixes the issues identified or instruct inspectors on how to fix the issue.
- Records the failure reason in the ICT test database.
- Setup ICT machine to run failed boards.
- Analyzes ICT first-pass yield and final yield using automated reports from ICT database and recommends corrective action to ICT technicians.
- Generate excel reports on a weekly basis about overall ICT rework work-in-process level.
- Maintain clean and organized work area at all times. Completes daily area clean up at the end of shift
- May participate in cross-training activities with other related positions
- Support / Participate in the Company’s management and quality system including continuous improvement efforts

+ **Bachelor's degree** in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
+ **5+ years of experience** in technical sales or applications engineering within the **test & measurement** or **network equipment** industry.
+ Proven experience selling **Ethernet, Layer 1-3 test equipment, BERTs, traffic generators, or analyzers** (e.g., Keysight, Viavi, Spirent, EXFO, etc.).
+ Strong understanding of **Ethernet protocols, PHY/SerDes, and Layer 1-3 technologies** (100G, 400G, 800G, 1.6T).
+ Ability to engage both technically and strategically with engineers, managers, and executives.
+ Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
+ Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently in a regional role.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with **CMIS, RS-FEC, PAM4, AN/LT, or coherent optics** test methodologies.
+ Existing relationships with key accounts in the **San Francisco** **Bay Area semiconductor or networking ecosystem** .
+ Experience with CRM tools (Dynamics 365 or Salesforce).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, write, and execute manual, CMM, and Vision System inspections
- Support internal customer requests for support related to inspection, measurement strategy, calibration, and other related requests.
- Identify nonconformances and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Document and record inspection results and properly file hard and electronic copies
- Interpret drawings and schematics.
- Initiate nonconformance reports (NCR's) for all nonconforming material.
- Perform inspections using the microscope.
- Perform first-article reports using various inspection tools.
- Follow customer specifications to satisfy the inspection requirements of the drawing or work order instructions

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum two years of experience with Calypso Software and Zeiss CMM; five years preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Ability to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
