Summary:

  • Serves as pharmacy representative on multidisciplinary committees, as assigned
  • Implements staff development and educational programs
  • Assists with training and onboarding of new pharmacy personnel
  • Assists with the coordination of residents and student learners
  • Maintains competence required for current job title/position
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:


  • > 6 years practice experience, Pharm.D. with PGY1 and PGY2 training (or equivalent experience), Illinois licensure, and board certification (specialty certification, as appropriate)
  • Excellent clinical, written/verbal communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supervising pharmacy personnel and precepting pharmacy learners
  • CPR certified
  • Must be creative and innovative in addressing challenges and opportunities.
  • Will be part of overnight rotation when overnight pharmacists are on vacation
