Job Title: Pharmacist (Abilene, TX)

Role Overview:

As a Pharmacist with the team, you will drive pharmacy management goals by providing comprehensive, accurate, and efficient dispensing services for both routine and emergency needs. Relying on strong management skills and meticulous attention to detail, you will ensure customers receive the right medications safely and on time.

Essential Functions:

Operations & Leadership

• Manage Daily Workflow: Execute day-to-day pharmacy operations to consistently meet production quotas, delivery schedules, and deadlines.
• Supervise Staff: Oversee pharmacy production staff to ensure efficient order entry workflow, facility security, and overall team performance.
• Clear the Queue: Ensure the workflow dashboard is fully cleared on a daily basis.

Dispensing & Quality Assurance

• Ensure Accuracy: Meticulously verify the completeness, content, and accuracy of all new and refill orders, labels, and drug packaging.
• Compound IV Products: Prepare and/or supervise the compounding of all sterile IV drug products and solutions.
• Manage Controlled Substances: Handle the proper ordering, receiving, documentation, and secure storage of controlled substances, including maintaining a perpetual inventory for Schedule II drugs.

Compliance & Standards

• Maintain Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and federal laws, HIPAA guidelines, and third-party payer contracts.
• Follow DEA Policies: Enforce and comply with all DEA policies and procedures, strictly following whichever regulatory standard is most stringent.
• Adhere to Internal Policies: Follow all departmental guidelines regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Fully Licensed Pharmacist

Schedule/ Shift:

Rotating day time shifts between the hours of 8-8. The Pharmacist will work every 3rd weekend (Saturday and Sunday) when they do that then they would have a four day work week.

Fully remote for now possible but possibility to turn Hybrid in office 2 days a week in Durham come January 2027 MUST live within a commutable distance to Durham

M-F 9-5 EST hours, can live in other time zones but work those EST hours

*Call Center, PBM, or Retail experience

*Must have an understanding of Medicare STARS and Metrics

*Must be comfortable on the phones interacting with members

*Must have experience working remotely

• Make outreach to Medicare members to assist in removing barriers to medication adherence.
• Partner with pharmacies and providers to close adherence gaps when the Medicare member is unengaged or when the Medicare member requires assistance.
• Contact providers to close SUPD (Statin Use in Persons with Diabetes) gaps.
• Complete Comprehensive Medication Reviews (CMRs) with eligible Medicare members to give the member a better understanding of their medications and health.
• Send interventions to providers through fax or the CMR platform to alert the provider of potential drug interactions and adverse reactions, dose changes, adherence issues, etc.
• Provide counseling to Medicare members regarding medications.
• Provide Medicare members with information regarding their pharmacy benefits (ie. formulary, preferred pharmacy, supplemental benefits, etc.)
• Provide clinical guidance and support to the Pharmacy Quality Specialists

Hiring Requirements

• PharmD

• 3+ years of experience in related field.

• North Carolina pharmacy license.

Job Title: Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Location: West Palm Beach, Florida

Full-Time

Job Summary

The Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in preparing customized medications that do not require sterile preparation. This role focuses on compounding creams, capsules, suspensions, and other dosage forms in accordance with pharmacy regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare non-sterile compounded medications including creams, ointments, capsules,
• Accurately weigh and measure pharmaceutical ingredients
• Mix compounds using mortar and pestle or other compounding equipment
• Operate capsule-filling machines and ointment mixers
• Maintain compounding logs and documentation
• Label and package compounded prescriptions
• Clean and sanitize compounding equipment and workstations
• Follow USP guidelines
• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and inventory management

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Pharmacy technician registration or license (depending on state)
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required
• Experience in non-sterile compounding required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow written formulas and procedures

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations
• Experience with capsule machines and tablet machine compounding
• Familiarity with compounding documentation and quality assurance
• Ability to work in a laboratory-style environment
