Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, supervise and review work of assigned department personnel to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Train and develop department personnel.
  • Perform additional duties per supervisor’s direction.


Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of commercial estimating experience.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Experience using the following or similar software: OnCenter, Cost OS, Building Connected, Bluebeam Revu/Studio, and other industry related software.
  • Candidate must have good written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach working with both clients, design team members and subcontractors.
  • Must be competent in use of Microsoft software, including collecting and analyzing data in Excel, and creating documents and preparing correspondence in Outlook & Word.

The City of Kirkland's Public Works Department is hiring Public Grounds Seasonal Laborers to join our Grounds Division team. In this role, you'll help maintain the landscapes that make Kirkland shine - from City buildings and medians to green spaces and retention ponds. Job Summary
Performs general labor tasks as assigned to contribute to the development and maintenance of City public grounds. This position may have a significant focus on our urban tree canopy.

Distinguishing Characteristics: The Public Works seasonal employees will be responsible for maintaining our landscape infrastructure throughout City owned buildings, medians, and retention ponds. An emphasized focus on supporting the urban tree canopy will be a primary function of this job. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain AI-powered solutions to streamline processes within a $1.8B supply chain operation, working directly with supply chain teams to co-develop solutions and conduct user acceptance testing. Expectations include managing 5-8 projects concurrently with high autonomy, optimizing AI agent performance, and ensuring solution longevity through detailed documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated workflows and AI agents for supply chain tasks.
  • Conduct iterative testing and user acceptance testing with supply chain teams.
  • Configure workflow logic, decision trees, automation sequences, and integration points for AI functionality.
  • Develop hybrid solutions integrating analytics dashboards with AI workflows for process automation.
  • Document workflow configurations, prompt patterns, and decisions in detail for non-technical user maintenance.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Expertise in prompt engineering and AI platform management
  • Proficiency in no-code/low-code workflow automation tools
  • Deep understanding of AI agent training, context windows, model limitations, and hallucination mitigation.
  • Basic technical understanding (APIs, data structures, integrations)
Industry Experience:
Knowledge of supply chain operations (procurement, inventory management, logistics) is strongly preferred.
