We are seeking a skilled Asphalt/ Paving Foreman to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asphalt/paving construction with leadership experience in managing crews and projects effectively.
Responsibilities:
· Manage and supervise paving crews, including scheduling, and assigning tasks.
· Coordinate with superintendents and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
· Calculates and manages material orders.
· Monitor work progress, quality, and safety standards on job sites.
· Operate and maintain paving equipment, i.e. skid steer and attachments, various types and size of rollers, mill/cold planner experience is a plus.
· Maintain inventory of material and equipment needed for projects.
· Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of work vehicles and equipment.
· Train and Mentor team members.
Qualifications:
· Multiple years of experience in asphalt paving and construction
· Strong knowledge of paving equipment and techniques
· Schedules and maintains open communication with inspectors when applicable.

Position Summary:
The Paving Superintendent provides overall project support and leadership to all team members and subcontractors. This role ensures that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality, adhering to all specifications and company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with (and actively promote) all Safety policies and procedures including reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses to ensure adherence to our Number One Core Value – Safety, first in everything we do.
- Notify the Operations Manager in case of illness to arrange proper project coverage.
- Maintain physical capability to lift at least 50 lbs. and perform tasks requiring bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, and twisting.
- Report daily crew attendance to the Operations Coordinator.
- Keep a copy of the project plans and specifications on hand at all times and confirm details with the Project Manager.
- Arrive on-site 30 minutes before the scheduled start time to review the project with the Foreman and ensure all equipment is functional and in position.
- Conduct a site walkthrough to identify and address potential hazards.
- Complete and submit daily time sheets in Heavy Job.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with project personnel, subcontractors, and the project superintendent.
- Oversee and ensure proper project layout from contract drawings for optimal quality and productivity.
- Attend and facilitate Weekly Toolbox Talks, submitting reports to the Safety Department.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of all team members under supervision.
- Ensure efficient operation of crew and trucking throughout the shift.
- Confirm and coordinate asphalt tonnage and mix types with the plant.
- Calculate the required number of trucks for paving and milling operations.
- Monitor trucking activity throughout the shift and adjust truck numbers as needed by communicating with the Foreman, Dispatch, and Plant.
- Obtain approval and signatures for all change orders, extra work, and overruns from the Project Manager and Owner.
- Secure a Paving Release from the owner when necessary to relieve the company from uncontrollable project challenges.
- Ensure assigned equipment is properly maintained and clean at all times.
- Report equipment repair needs to the Shop Superintendent promptly.
- Park all equipment safely and in an orderly fashion, following clear zone requirements and placing Type 2 barricades as needed.
- Address team member issues by suspending employees if necessary, in consultation with the Operations Manager. All terminations are handled by Senior Management.
- Monitor and support all Foreman responsibilities.
- Verify subcontractor work hours and ensure sign-in/out sheets are completed legibly.
- Conduct daily project inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and all cleanup is completed.
- Report all accidents and incidents immediately to the supervisor and Safety Department.
- Communicate with Quality Control and review reports to ensure data accuracy and alignment with project measurements. Track yields, density, slope, and straight edge compliance.
- Submit daily schedule requests to Dispatch (cc Plant Manager, Operations Manager, QC Manager, and Operations Coordinator) by 10 AM for day shifts and at the end of the shift for night work.
- Send the weekly schedule to the Operations Coordinator (cc Operations Manager and Dispatch) every Thursday by 10 AM.
- Attend weekly Operations Meetings and prepare in advance for special project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Minimum of five years of paving experience.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level 1 and/or Level 2 certification is a plus.

General Description
The Estimator is responsible for the preparation and review of assigned roadway construction and/or asphalt paving estimate packages; implementing department standards and procedures while ensuring the accuracy and completeness of estimate packages. Company primarily performs construction activities involving asphalt paving/resurfacing, bridge construction, earthwork/grading, roadway construction/rehabs, and highway work.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Read/review plans, proposals, specifications, RFP’s, and any other pertinent project related documents necessary to develop a competent and competitive estimate/bid package.
- Solicit estimates from various subcontractors and vendors to prepare estimate packages.
- Prepare reports and analysis pertinent to estimating as requested by management
- Review established labor, equipment, and material costs, for preparation of estimate/bid packages.
- Prepare accurate estimates from conceptual and schematic drawings.
- Produce detailed, final contract estimates, for primarily Asphalt Paving and Roadway/Site Development Projects.
- Assess project exposures/construction risks and appropriately analyze cost and reflect these in an estimate.
- Identify potential construction issues through the estimating process.
- Identify value-engineering alternatives.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
- Working experience on HCSS software or other equivalent estimating software.
- Must be able to verbally communicate effectively; as well as written correspondence.
- Working knowledge of asphalt laydown and/or roadway construction operations.
- Must be able to interpret blueprints and written specifications.
- Attention to detail, including interpretation and preparation of spreadsheets and other data.
Education and/or Experience
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator bidding asphalt paving and/or roadway construction projects.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent experience, is required.
- Experience working for a General Contractor as an estimator bidding on Department of Transportation or other roadway projects between $1M and $25M required.

- Noise level in the typical office work environment is quiet; however when visiting construction sites and/or asphalt manufacturing facilities, various levels of noise, dust and other environmental exposures may occur; any exposure is within the established Permissible Exposure Limits, however Personal protective Equipment such as hardhats, hearing protection and safety glasses, may be required.

SummaryThis position performs a variety of clerical, recordkeeping, and customer service tasks to assist with the smooth operation of the organization. Provides administrative and clerical support to an assigned location, department, and/or unit. Develops, maintains, and ensures com. Job DescriptionEssential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greets and directs clients and visitors.
- Answers phone calls and emails in a timely manner.
- Manages company telecommunications network and communicates with answering service.
- Makes appointments and referrals
- Manage data in spreadsheets and reports
- Creates and maintains office related records and reports
- Files/uploads reports with city, and state agencies
- Performs data entry and filing tasks for accounts payable, purchase orders, equipment inventory,
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of confidential employee or departmental files.
- Receives, records, and distributes packages and mail.
- Manages key vendor accounts, supply inventory, and submits invoices for payment
- Compiles budget data and maintains financial records as requested.
- Copies, collates, and otherwise prepares reports for mailings, meetings, and other correspondence.
- Assists with projects and event support
- Assists other departments as needed
- Assists with Customer relations
- Assists with Contract creations
- Manages all branch Fire Alarm Invoicing
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
- High School diploma
- Ability to obtain Alarm company employee license
- Proven success in office administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as record keeping and filing
- Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
