Baptist Health Louisville has eight Telemetry/Medical-Surgical units in the main hospital. Each unit consists of 21 private rooms. The staff provides intermediate-level care for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of different medical diagnoses. Each unit fosters teamwork that allows the nurse to function successfully in meeting the needs of our patients. All of the units provide high-level, fast-paced, patient and family-centered care. ACLS is required for all staff. New graduates are welcome on each of the Telemetry units.
The Nurse Assistant assists the nursing staff by performing selected nursing procedures and routine duties in caring for patients. All functions must be within the scope of training and instruction received and are under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.

In this job, you will:
- Fully participate in the company Safety Program and attends daily pre-shift meetings.

- Communicate flagging instructions to personnel, when/as required.

- Track assigned work and report completion of duties to supervisory personnel.

Supports the operational functions of the department as related to: reporting, payroll, service recovery, staff communication, staff data collection and reporting, staff competencies and regulatory readiness compliance. Interview staff for open positions; evaluate and conduct performance reviews as assigned; draft and issue corrective actions/coaching; follow up regarding any disciplinary action to determine compliance.

Ochsner Children’s Hospital is seeking interested BC/BE Pediatricians for a NICU Hospitalist position in New Orleans, LA. Candidates for our level IV NICU are invited to consider joining our division working alongside an experienced team of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners. We are the only hospital in Louisiana to provide both Level IV neonatal and obstetric care at the same facility, Ochsner Baptist Hospital.
Ochsner Baptist Hospital features a state-of-the-art 66 bed, level IV NICU with private rooms for singleton patients as well as multiples.
Our section of fetal echo is located at Ochsner Baptist Hospital and coordinates care of babies with complex congenital heart diseases.
Our team participates in the Vermont Oxford Network, has continuous performance improvement initiatives underway.
A full spectrum of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialty support is always available.
Ochsner Baptist offers neonatal telemedicine services and a neonatal resident rotation.
