Deliver lumber and building materials from store locations to customer job sites
Operate a tractor trailer with a 45 ft flatbed trailer and a forklift mounted on the back

Start time is 6:00 AM; work until all deliveries are completed for the day

Average starting weekly pay is $1,200–$1,300

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales through contacting current and prospective customers and effectively communicating the value of our hardwood lumber, plywood, mouldings and accessories.
This position manages key aspects of the sales and procurement cycles. Primary duties include handling all inbound customer inquiries, generating quotes, processing sales orders, and negotiating sales prices. This role also holds significant purchasing authority, responsible for analyzing hardwood usage reports, issuing purchase orders, and binding the company on wholesale inventory purchases from hardwood suppliers. Additional responsibilities include prospecting for new business, inspecting staged orders for accuracy, processing customer credits, and coordinating with the Brazos Mill Team to enforce sales initiatives.

Summary of Position
A Driver CDL is responsible for maintaining a culture of safety and making sure every customer receives prompt and courteous service. A Driver CDL must exhibit excellent product knowledge of lumber and building materials and ensure that company processes and procedures are followed relating to product deliveries, as well as operations within the lumberyard.
In addition to driving a company owned commercial vehicle, a Driver CDL must ensure the safe and proper loading and unloading of product, be aware of job site conditions and safety, maintain accuracy of product entering and leaving the yard, and manage the safe unloading and stocking of shingles, drywall, lumber, millwork, and other products. A Driver CDL is to ensure a culture of safety, cleanliness, accountability, excellence in customer service, and accuracy of all paperwork completed and processed.
The direct supervisor of a Driver CDL is the General Manager.
Responsibilities of Position
- Responsible for delivering products and materials to customer's jobsites using the most efficient route available while observing and obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations as well as company policies/procedures.
- Unload or assists in unloading products and materials at the customer's jobsite by using crane (boom), conveyor, piggybacks (Moffett) and/or by hand.
- Ensures that delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service.
- Responsible for securing returning loads on the company vehicle prior to leaving the job site.
- Responsible for the completion of required paperwork pertaining to deliveries (including Delivery Waiver / Consent Form), returns, and/or transfers to ensure the accurate tracking of product and materials for inventory control management purposes.
- Assists in the loading and/or securing of residential and commercial building products and materials on trucks daily. Assists yard personnel in verifying materials and quantities for accuracy.
- Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the inside and outside of delivery vehicles.
- Performs routine safety check on vehicles according to company policies/procedures.
- Assists in yard and warehouse with stocking, loading and organizing building and lumber materials.
- Assist customers in the yard with loading material and product questions when not driving a delivery truck.

Driver License and DOT Medical Certification Requirement
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL License (preferably with Air Brake and Manual Transmission Endorsements)
- Must possess or be willing to obtain DOT Medical Certification Card (preferably self-certified as \"Non-Excepted Interstate\")
- Have an acceptable driving record for the prior sixty (60) months of operating a commercial motor vehicle.

Responsibilities of Position

*Equipment and Machinery*
· Will become familiar with the site-specific safe operation of equipment and machinery associated with the mill.
· Will make use of all safety guards and implements that are associated with equipment, machinery and the facility.
· Will use proper Lock-out/Tag-out Procedures 100% of the time to avoid injuries or harm to equipment.
*Essential Requirements*
· Proven reliability
· Thorough knowledge of boiler operations. Minimum 1 year solid fuel (wood) boiler operation.
· Minimum one year experience in the industrial sector or military.
· Effective communication and analytical skills.
· Possess and continually maintain active State of Maine High Pressure Boiler License (minimum 4th class engineer) 600 hp boiler
· Control Room Operator experience a plus.
· Due to on-call requirement, candidate must live within 20 minutes of mill
· Positive attitude and strong work ethic
· Desire to safely work to enhance production processes
· Ability to follow established procedures and practices
· A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
· Very good communication skills
· Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs floor to waist; 40 lbs waist to shoulders; twist, reach away from body, push, pull, grip, repetitive lifting and bend.
· Satisfactory pre-employment physical exam and drug screening.

Description:
As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place the customer's materials right where they need them.
Requirements:
* Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
* Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift
* An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
* Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred

Our Gallery Support Specialist is a crucial member of the Window Sales team. This position is responsible for supporting the Window Showroom Sales team by assisting with take-offs, completing pricing and proposals, and ensuring the accuracy of orders and quotes. The Gallery Support Specialist assists our walk-in and call-in customers, maintains the showroom display appearance and ensures all window and door literature and samples are stocked and up to date. Additional duties include scheduling and coordinating deliveries, participating in site measures and verifications, and coordination of service and product returns when needed. Providing timely and accurate responses to customers, vendors, and internal team members is a must!

THIS IS YOU
The ideal candidate is an organized and detailed individual who enjoys independent work as much as working as part of a team. A passion for building relationships and problem solving is key to success in this role. Clear written and verbal communication skills are a must have.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in the Construction or Building Materials industry
- 2+ years in Customer Service or Project Management
- Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Enjoys and excels at problem solving
Preferred:
- Construction Management degree, or similar
- Salesforce or equivalent CRM experience
- Building material take-off experience
