Education:

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

Principal Accountabilities

  • Manages the daily operations of a patient care department, including forecasting and ensuring adequate staffing, taking departmental calls, planning for continuity of care, serving in charge nurse role and providing direct patient care as needed.

Qualifications: 

  • You currently hold an Idaho or multistate RN license

  • You are willing to obtain your Advance Cardiovascular Life Support for HealthCare Provider (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire and your Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 12 months of hire

About the job:

Medical Lab Techs and Medical Techs perform laboratory and/or phlebotomy testing in support of our clinical operations. They not only have knowledge of the clinical significance of lab results, they also monitor and understand our high tech instrumentation at a professional level, and report results accurately and rapidly on an ongoing basis.

Night shift 10:00 pm - 6:30 a.m.; every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage.

What you will do:

  • Practices established safety procedures, including Universal Precautions and proper use of safety equipment.
  • Performs routine scheduled and specialized maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Teaches laboratory procedures to other Technologists and Technicians.

What we are looking for:

  • Education: Associate's degree Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
  • Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.

Position Purpose:

The Interventional Radiology RN assists with all the procedures, such as Ultrasound, CT, and Neurology cases. The schedule is nine-hour shifts) plus on-call. The Team will typically take 10 on-call shifts within a 6-week schedule. Previous ICU experience is preferred, but not required.
