A respected multi-office law firm is seeking a Family Law Attorney in New York, NY to handle divorce, custody, support, and equitable distribution matters. Key Responsibilities


• Handle a range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and equitable distribution

• Represent middle-income and high-net-worth clients in contested and non-contested proceedings

• Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, memoranda, and court submissions

• Provide strategic client counseling on case developments, risk assessment, and resolution options

• Appear in court and deliver effective courtroom advocacy when needed

• Manage matters with a high degree of independence while working closely with colleagues in a team-oriented setting

• Support clients through emotionally sensitive disputes with professionalism and sound judgment

Qualifications


• 3–10 years of family law experience required

• Admission to the New York Bar required

• New Jersey Bar admission preferred

• Demonstrated experience with divorce, custody, support, and equitable distribution matters

• Strong drafting, legal writing, and communication skills

• Confident courtroom presence and advocacy ability

• Ability to manage client matters independently from intake through resolution

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
