The rate for this position is $18.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. The hours are Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to 11:30pm.
This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
The Assembler II is responsible for meeting daily production targets with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, delivery, inventory management, and productivity. This role focuses on assembling Low Voltage Assemblies and performing all associated tasks, including those assigned to Assembler I positions (Flex and Lean), as well as assembly machine operation. Additional responsibilities include PowerWave2 hi-pot testing, label creation, quality verification, and completing material transactions in AS400.
May be required to obtain or maintain QEW certification to perform electrical testing on assemblies, as applicable.
Use a variety of fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust, or repair components.
Perform layout work and operate tools such as drills, saws, punches, riveters, caulking equipment, and painting tools as needed.
Apply identification labels to completed assemblies.
Retrieve and deliver materials to the assembly line to support production flow.
Prepare assemblies for shipment or storage as part of the final assembly process.
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and WSRA requirements.
Adhere to standard operating procedures and method sheets.
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors.
Conduct visual inspections of materials before and after assembly.
Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet all specifications.
Support other production areas or perform duties of other positions as needed.

Under the direction of the supervisor, operate machines, tools, and equipment in the Mill Room to complete orders to the highest quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Machine material to meet part specifications utilizing work instructions and/or patterns.
- Ensures accurate completion of paperwork; verify part quality and quantities.
- Setup and operate a variety of saws, drill press, CNC machines, hand drills and other hand tools.
- May operate forklift if certified.
- Follow part specifications to produce machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC machine.
- Follows all work orders provided by management.
- Remains compliant with housekeeping standards and all safety and work rules and regulations.
- Recommends new and better processes, and methods where possible to manager.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and debris free work area.
- May perform some assembly.

Key Responsibilities
- Source, purchase, and negotiate pricing for machined and fabricated components
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Obtain, evaluate, and compare supplier quotes and estimates
- Perform cost and labor analysis for machined/fabricated parts
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to ensure supplier alignment
- Develop supplier relationships and monitor performance on quality, cost, delivery, and capability

Perform routine and non-routine cleaning tasks along with other staff on Meltblown equipment assuring their ongoing cleanliness
Ability to set-up, operate and troubleshoot and/or make proper machine adjustments to the process to produce quality product that meets and/or exceeds customer expectations
Understand and be able to do basic upkeep and troubleshooting on the following equipment:
- Meltblown machines in total including all sub-systems
- TSI Testers
- Cutters
- Presses
- Resin drying equipment

Collaborate with and support engineering from Neillsville and Stoughton with new processes and products
Directly engage engineering and maintenance in a timely manner to assist with issues
Assist in creation of documentation for existing and new processes and procedures
Properly complete all documentation within the department including quality records, maintenance logs, production logs, 5S scores, etc as directed
Understand and apply media specifications as needed to maintain product quality.
Assist in managing scrap amounts by promptly addressing causes of scrap including involving engineering or maintenance

Support and maintain OE initiatives throughout designated work area
Responsible for completing weekly and monthly Preventative Maintenance on equipment.
