JOB SUMMARY
Interprets, obtains, prepares/compounds, labels, and distributes pharmacy products for patient use while taking into consideration patient age and any other relevant information. Depending on department, may also prepare IV medications using special equipment supplies and techniques for patient administration and processes refill requests for non-monitored pharmacy medication such as enteral products/supplies or respiratory medications. Documents the distribution of medication for proper use and reimbursement in accordance with department policy. Involved in production, packaging, record keeping, and stocking tasks.

East Ventura County employer is seeking an experienced Lathe programmer/ machinist to Program, Setup and operate 2, 3, 5 and 6 axis Lathes.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Program, set up Lathe/Mill machines and offset tools to create First Article components
- Ensures product is machined per customer specifications and ships within the timeframe allotted
- Machine Print-to-Part products
- Performs Live Tooling on machines
- Ensure traceability of the work completed per AS9100 standards
- Will self inspect first product run, complex proto-type and machined parts using appropriate tools in order to ensure quality products

Summary: Perform duties required to assist in repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment and perform various building and grounds maintenance activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED:
- Work from work orders and verbal and written instructions.
- Assist in repairing and maintaining equipment.
- Lubricate equipment and complete other preventive maintenance checks
- Perform plumbing, lighting, and other work such as repairing sinks, replacing receptacles, and painting walls.
- Perform grounds maintenance, keeping outside facilities and structures in proper condition.
- Use forklift equipment and floor controlled overhead crane equipment as necessary to move parts and materials; use care to lift and balance loads properly; operate equipment in a safe manner.
- Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision.
- Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
- Use oscilloscope, calipers, feeler gauges, inside and outside micrometers, rules, squares, dial indicators, voltage tester, continuity tester, tape measure, various hand tools, jacks, rollers, pry bars, chain pull, level, concrete saw, jack hammer, cutting torch, welder, and rotary hammer.
- Ability to troubleshoot and/or program PLCs (i.e. Siemens, Allen Bradley, ABB, Fanuc).

Position SUMMARY
The management responsibilities and duties for the Infection Prevention and Control Program are required to prevent and control the spread of infections and/or outbreaks. The manager takes measures to prevent and reduce risk for the hospital related to hospital acquired infections (HAI) and track and monitor transmissible diseases and notify local, state, and federal authorities about reportable diseases as required. The manager has the responsibility to maintain the program in a state of readiness for compliance with regulatory requirements from federal, state and local agencies (CMS, TJC, OSHA, ect.)
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Education
*Master's degree in nursing preferred; Bachelor of Nursing required
*Completed post-secondary education in nursing. Post-secondary includes public or private universities, colleges, community colleges, etc.
Registered Nurse
2 or more years' experience in infection prevention preferred.
A minimum of experience of two or more years in the related field of nursing
Certification in Infection Control (CBIC) with recertification every 5 years
Current license to practice in the State of North Carolina

Job Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis
Completes and updates NHSN modules on current HAI definitions.
Manages ICP data to include NHSN (for public reporting) and internal leadership reporting.
Perform surveillance and review/evaluate cases of infections for opportunities in patient care.
Provide data analysis of all ICP data and develop action plans to applicable leadership teams and healthcare providers.
Hand hygiene compliance surveillance and education (process improvement)
Track and monitor transmissible diseases and notify local, state, and federal authorities about reportable diseases as required.
Establish accepted standards to develop, implement, monitor, and revise infection control policies and procedures to assure compliance with the standards.
Coordinates infection control risk assessments for construction, renovation, or repairs with the project manager.
Conducts audits of the environment and addresses any concerns or lapses with infection control practices.
Coordinates annual Infection Control Risk Assessment for annual planning and disease control.
Based on annual risk assessment, develops Infection Control Program plan and sets goals.

Actively leads or participates in quality projects/groups for reduction of HAI, such as CAUTI, CLABSI & CDIFF TRIADs and DYADS.
Stays current in assessment of entity compliance with best practice recommendations, regulatory agencies and state and federal laws.
Coordinates data collection, analyzes data, development of action plans and conducts follow-up of implemented action plans to determine further actions if necessary.
