GenNext Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Math Tutor/Teacher to work with students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Responsibilities

• Deliver the GenNext math curriculum effectively
• Teach foundational math concepts to elementary and middle school students
• Provide strategic support for STAAR test preparation
• Prepare students for Gifted and Talented programs and math competitions (Math Kangaroo, Math Olympiad, etc.)
• Teach Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry to middle and high school students as needed
• Monitor and assess student progress

Qualifications

Middle School Math Tutor

The Job:

SmartStart Education seeks a small group math tutor to work with small groups of middle school students Monday through Friday. Each small group consists of 1-4 students. Each group consists of students who have been identified as students who are struggling with fundamental math skills. Students are from grade levels 6th through 8th.

The tutor will work with each group several times throughout the week at a middle school in Brooklyn, NY. Groups will take place within the classroom (push-in services) or outside of the classroom (pull-out services). Tutors should be flexible and comfortable with both settings. Each tutor will be given the responsibility of taking daily attendance and monitoring student progress using a personal device (mobile phone).

Job Details:

The tutoring position begins promptly on April 13, 2026 and ends on June 19, 2026. The schedule will be 8:20am until 2:40pm Monday through Friday. • Count, rack, and prepare parts for finishing
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy
• Complete paperwork to ensure smooth processing
• Pack finished products to ship back to customers
• Follow safety and production guidelines in a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse environment
