Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Data Services, this position partners with institutional leaders, IT teams, and enterprise stakeholders to deliver reliable data products, consistent metrics, and actionable insights.
The manager will lead a team of data professionals and advance practical, operational governance practices that support trusted analytics and long-term institutional impact.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of the university’s enterprise business intelligence environment, including Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
Establish standards, best practices, and architectural patterns for semantic models, dashboards, and analytics delivery.
Guide migration and modernization efforts to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing analytics solutions.
Develop and manage an analytics intake, prioritization, and delivery framework aligned with institutional priorities.
Define and implement data quality monitoring practices to ensure reliability, accuracy, and consistency of enterprise data assets.
Partner with technical teams to embed validation, monitoring, and observability into data pipelines and lakehouse environments.
Promote consistent metric definitions and collaborate with campus stakeholders to clarify data ownership and stewardship roles.
Support adoption of metadata management, data catalog, and lineage capabilities.
Ensure analytics solutions align with university standards for security, privacy, and responsible data use.
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of analytics and data professionals, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and service.
Communicate analytics priorities, progress, and impact to leadership and campus partners.

The Benefits Specialist will support a book of 65–85 clients, providing consultation, onboarding, and ongoing service for employee benefits programs. This is a direct-hire role, onsite five days per week for the first quarter, then transitioning to a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 remote). Responsibilities include serving as the primary client contact, responding to benefit-related inquiries, troubleshooting payroll and billing discrepancies, and assisting client employees with benefits questions. The role works closely with benefit consultants and internal service teams to deliver a high level of customer service. The Benefits Specialist will lead annual renewal meetings, review plan changes and options, and prepare client-facing reports. Position Snapshot/A Day in the Life:
This Associate Engineer position will be within the Traffic Division of the Public Works/Engineering Department. With a team of 11 (7 of whom are primarily responsible for signal operations and maintenance), we are responsible for overseeing the City's transportation system, including supporting Capital Improvements Projects, Land Development projects, Street Maintenance, Planning, and others.
Under the direction of a Senior Engineer or City Traffic Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for reviewing private development and capital improvement project related traffic studies, identifying impacts and deficiencies, and determining the most appropriate improvements and design features needed. Other day-to-day duties will also involve reviewing and preparing signing/striping plans and traffic control plans, investigating and responding to concerns from the general public, and participating in long-range planning activities. You may also be asked to help work on special projects and grant pursuits, preparing staff reports, participating in interagency coordination efforts, preparing RFP's/RFQ's, reviewing and processing proposals/contracts/traffic plans, and conducting various meetings.
Distinguishing Characteristics: This is the journey level class within the Engineering series. Employees within this class are distinguished from the Assistant Civil Engineer by the performance of the full range of duties as assigned. - Principles of advanced mathematics and their application to engineering work.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in preparing and reviewing transportation analysis for a range of project scales and being able to interpret the practical implications of the analysis results. They would be familiar with VMT, the current industry trends related to its implementation, and be able to assist the team in managing and updating our Traffic Impact Guidelines. They'll have excellent skills in using Excel and be comfortable working within it to create reliable and flexible tools for day-to-day analysis needs. The Traffic division and the City pursue significant grants and special projects that allow us to grow our infrastructure and capabilities, as well as to implement the best practices in the industry, the ideal candidate would be someone who is knowledgeable about the current trends in the Transportation engineering and planning fields and be able to lead grant pursuit efforts and independently manage such projects along with coordination with stakeholders of competing interests.
Experience: One (1) to two (2) years of increasingly responsible experience in civil engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least two (2) years of experience preparing and reviewing transportation impact analyses for a range of project scales and being able to interpret the practical implications of the analysis results.
- Familiarity with VMT, the current industry trends related to its implementation, and have experience managing and/or updating Traffic Impact Guidelines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including building tools for transportation data analysis.
