Position Summary

NeuWave is seeking a dynamic Associate Director of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs (QA/RA) to lead and scale our quality and regulatory functions during a critical phase of transition and innovation. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining compliant quality systems (ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820), overseeing regulatory approvals, leading audits, ensuring product safety, and partnering cross-functionally with R&D and Operations.

The Associate Director will drive a strong quality culture while overseeing full-time and contract staff across New Product Development & Lifecycle Quality, Quality Systems, Production & Service Quality, Supplier Quality, and Post-Market Surveillance. A key focus will be leading major transition initiatives, including standing up a new Quality System, implementing a new eQMS, and executing the 2025 functional business plan.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and maintain a compliant Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with FDA, ISO 13485, EU MDR, and global regulatory standards; drive achievement of key quality metrics, including CAPA effectiveness.
• Oversee major transition initiatives, including implementation of a new QMS, eQMS deployment and validation, and migration of legacy quality systems.
• Serve as primary liaison to regulatory authorities (FDA, EU Notified Bodies); lead regulatory submissions, registrations, labeling compliance, and responses to inquiries.
• Ensure audit readiness and lead internal, third-party, and regulatory audits, including TÜV surveillance audits.
• Oversee product and lifecycle quality, including risk management, design controls, production quality, and post-market surveillance.
• Partner with R&D and Operations to support successful new product introductions and define regulatory pathways.
• Strengthening supplier quality and manufacturing performance, driving operational efficiency and Cost of Goods (COGs) improvements.
• Build and lead a high-performing QA/RA team while advancing a strong, business-aligned quality culture.

Education, Experience & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years in QA/RA within regulated industries, including leadership experience.
• Regulatory Expertise: Strong knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, GMP, and global submission processes (510(k), PMA, EU MDR).
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional quality teams across production, systems, and post-market activities.

Our client is seeking a Quality Control Manager/Director who will inspect 1) raw materials as they arrive at our facility, 2) in-process production items, and 3) final products produced to make sure those products comply with the technical standards required for production.

The director will be responsible for the overall “quality program” (ISO 9000) at our facility to ensure reduced errors in production, manufacturing, shipping and receiving. This would include maintaining our ISO 9000 compliance and certifications.

The goals are safety first, and then error free shipments (product and paperwork) that meet or exceed our customer specifications.

Job Function:

• Review technical specifications on most/all request for quotes (RFQ’s) received, prior to production, to confirm our ability to source materials, and equipment (if needed) for those projects.
• Evaluate and review QAP’s (quality assurance plan) to confirm we are meeting all customer requirements.
• Confirm that we have necessary testing equipment and confirm establish testing procedures as required.
• Conduct testing throughout production and/or prior to shipping that materials meet technical specifications.
• Prepare and source from vendors, Certificates of Conformance to document testing/monitoring procedures
• Interface with customers and sub-contractors with questions regarding technical specifications, quality questions, and corrective action reports as needed.
• Work with employees to implement the quality standards agreed upon by management into the daily work procedures and activities.

Job Requirement:

• Associate Degree and/or 5 years working experience
• Certification of quality control is a strong advantage; experience in ISO 9000, is preferred.
• Understanding of Military Standards
• Experience in manufacturing preferred, but not necessary

The Role:

The Quality Engineer I / II will support Quality Assurance activities for Vaxess’ combination product programs, with a strong focus on medical device design controls, risk management, and cGMP compliance. This role provides hands-on quality support across design and development, supplier oversight, process validation readiness, and batch record/data review, aligned with ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820, and applicable combination product regulations (21 CFR 4).

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this role works cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Process Development, Quality Control, and Material Management to support compliant execution and ensure product quality and safety during early clinical development.

Responsibilities:

• Support quality oversight of Vaxess combination product(s) to ensure compliance with safety, efficacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Administer and support the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820, 21 CFR Part 4 (Combination Products), and applicable FDA and international regulations.
• Provide quality support for Design Control activities, including Design History File (DHF) maintenance, design reviews, Design Verification and Validation (DVV), and design changes.
• Support risk management activities, including development and maintenance of risk analyses (e.g., FMEA, hazard analyses) and linkage to design and process controls.
• Support process validation and qualification activities, including test method validation (TMV), process validation (PV), and equipment qualification, as applicable to Phase I and GMP-ready manufacturing.
• Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities, including nonconformance assessment, disposition, and documentation.
• Perform quality review and approval of batch records, executed manufacturing records, analytical data collection forms, test records, and technical or experimental reports.
• Collaborate in supplier quality management activities, including supplier qualification, auditing, monitoring, change evaluation, and periodic requalification.
• Author, review, and revise quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, test methods, protocols, reports, forms, and specifications.
• Support preparation, review, and organization of quality data and documentation for regulatory submissions and inspections.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QMS, including CAPA, deviation investigations, and quality metrics.

Qualifications:

• Quality Engineer I: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering within a cGMP-regulated medical device or combination product environment.
• Quality Engineer II: Typically 4–5 years of progressive quality experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biologics, or combination products.
• Working knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA medical device Quality System Regulations (21 CFR 820); familiarity with combination product requirements strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting early-phase (preclinical to Phase I) product development is highly desirable.
• Experience with design controls, risk management (FMEA), and validation activities preferred.
• Experience reviewing GMP documentation such as batch records, test methods, protocols, and reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document technical and quality concepts.

What you'll bring to the team:

• 7-10 years of project management experience in equipment-intensive environments (car wash, automotive service, industrial equipment, etc.)

Raytheon is seeking a well-qualified Principal System Security Engineer (Cyber Engineer) - P4 to join our elite Systems Security Engineering (SSE) team for the Systems Directorate in developing solutions to protect the Warfighter’s technology advantage. Systems Security Engineering creates holistic security solutions leveraging Cyber Security, Software Assurance and Supply Chain Risk Management to support Program Protection Implementation on embedded weapons systems. Join our highly visible team and perform technically challenging assignments, which will directly contribute to protecting our nation and our Warfighters. This is an onsite position at Raytheon.

What You Will Do

• Interact with the customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness

• Develop plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans

• Ensure compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls

• Consult and assist program management with SSE architecture and issues

• Support the development of bids and proposals

• Define security development and test efforts implementation of security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software component

• Integrate cybersecurity development activities

• Develop top-level system requirements and flow down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystem

• Understanding, and compliance with, DoD technology release and export licensing policies

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

• Experience in System Security Engineering and/or Cybersecurity Engineering

• Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)

Qualifications We Prefer

• Managerial or leadership experience

• Usage of information security toolsets including anti-virus, Vulnerability Assessment, HIDS/ NIDS. host-based or endpoint security solutions, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) and centralized auditing tools familiarity with splunk is preferred

• Linux Bash scripting or Python scripting experience

• Security systems engineering involving various computer hardware and software S/W operating system and application solutions in both a stand-alone and in LAN/WAN configurations

• DoDI 8570.01-M IAT Level-II Compliant Certification (e.g. Security+, CISSP, or equivalent)

• Security features and/or vulnerability analysis of various operating systems as defined by Intelligence agencies

• Experience with IT and/or network and system security administration, including operating system security configuration and account management best practices for UNIX, MS Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and CISCO systems

• Understanding of Systems Engineering requirements, specifications, and Experience implementing DoD and Federal IA Certification and Accreditation Processes, IA controls and developing and maintaining associated certification and accreditation documentation

• Familiar with Program Protection Plan (PPP) required by DoDI 5000.02 and DoDI 5200.39

• Experience working on U.S. Government contract proposals as an Information Assurance Engineer subject matter expert

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS) team. NASAMS is a cutting-edge air defense system that protects critical assets and population centers from aerial threats by integrating advanced radar, command and control, and missile systems. This role is based in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, where you’ll work collaboratively to deliver high-quality software solutions that support the NASAMS system effectivity chain: Detect, Decide, Engage, and Destroy.

Leveraging Agile and DevSecOps principles, you’ll design, develop, test, and deploy software for mission-critical capabilities. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and deliver real-time software for NASAMS, including Detect, Decide, Engage, and Destroy functionalities.

• Develop solutions for target acquisition, threat evaluation, missile firing, and other critical functions.

• Maintain and deploy complex software in an Agile/DevSecOps environment with secure, high-quality, high-frequency deliveries.

• Mentor junior engineers, promoting technical growth and collaboration.

• Participate in reviews of software components to ensure quality and alignment with program requirements.

• Contribute to testing frameworks and CI/CD practices to enable efficient software validation and delivery.
