JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY


CNC Machinist will operate computer-controlled tools to machine or process parts, tools, or other work pieces primarily of polyurethane foam but other materials as well. Reads and interprets blueprints, work orders, and related documentation to determine methods and sequence of operations, in addition to, dimensional and finish specifications.

  • Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures
  • Mount, install, align, secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and work pieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently setup and breakdown machines, removing finished work pieces, tooling changes, or work piece placement, according to required machining sequences
  • Read, interpret and convey instructions, verbally and in written form

Education, Skills and Certifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to receive and interpret instructions and directions from supervisors and peers
  • Must demonstrate good judgment to perform the job correctly and safely
  • Experience with GD and T
  • Must be process minded with experience leading and participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of CNC experience

Preferred Applicants will also possess the following:

This position provides both physical and administrative security services for the Company. It protects employees, customers, authorized visitors, vendors, and QuikTrip and private property from harm; and deters illegal activity, theft, and vandalism within and upon QuikTrip's property while preserving QuikTrip brand reputation as the convenience retail destination of choice. Conducts interior and exterior security checks of store grounds and as directed, Non-Store facilities. Essential tasks include:

  • Identifying, reporting, and mitigating (within capabilities under the circumstances) observed life, fire, or safety hazards.

Ensure customer safety by correcting or bringing harmful situations (wet floors, icy sidewalks, oil spills, etc.) to the attention of the Manager on duty, and (when feasible) remediating the condition or ensuring appropriate notice/warning of the condition (wet floor signs) is in place until such condition can be remediated.

Complete UpKeep tasks and assigned tasks by complying with QT Standards of Store Operations and Career Development Tasks Guides. This includes, but is not limited to:

Under the direction of the Lead Security Officer, is responsible for the performance of all security and safety duties as assigned. Provide armed, uniformed Security presence throughout SPHP campuses. Senior Security Officers will assess threats, provide immediate response to, and mitigate offenses against public order, life and safety of colleagues, staff, patients, visitors and others on and within the buildings and grounds of SPHP. Offenses or events requiring investigation and thorough reporting will be made and submitted to Lead Security Officer and other SPHP Leadership. Coordination with law enforcement agencies based on threat assessment and offenses. Pick up hours as the need arises, at our Acute care facilities, other than primary work location.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED Certificate required.
  • Valid NYS Drivers License.
  • Unexpired NYS Armed Security Guard License (includes firearms training and a valid NYS pistol permit).
  • Minimum of five years Armed Security Guard experience.
  • Five (5) years Healthcare/ Hospital security or five (5) years Law Enforcement experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated understanding of the New York State Penal Law and Criminal Procedure Law.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the use of force continuum and it's application within a private security setting.
  • Active police officer certification; active police officers required to obtain NYS Armed Security Guard license within 90 days of hire.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.70

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

SUMMARY Provides executive leadership for Jeffco Public Schools' comprehensive school safety, security, and emergency management enterprise. Develops and oversees the district's school safety strategy, integrating prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery across 168 campuses over 774 square miles and serving approximately 74,000 students and 14,000 employees. Directs a complex, 24/7 Department of School Safety with responsibility for strategic planning, business operations, workforce management, and performance oversight. EXPERIENCE 7 years of experience of senior leadership experience in public safety, law enforcement, emergency management, or a comparably complex organization, including senior-level responsibility for a multi-faceted safety, security, or emergency management function.
