JOB PURPOSE:
The Production Supervisor will oversee Production and is responsible for hitting daily shift goals by directing the work of manufacturing production staff. The Supervisor will ensure the Associates are staying on task and completing the required workload in a safe and efficient manner. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Duties

- Conduct daily meetings with appropriate staff, engage in regular facility inspections, and discuss survey findings and formulation of plans of action/correction as needed
- Assist in developing plans of correction for cited deficiencies and ensure such plans incorporate timetables and methods of monitoring so that such deficiencies do not recur
- Review and check competence of workforce and make necessary adjustments/corrections as required

- Ensure that providers are in compliance with facility policies governing credentialing, admissions, medical treatment, visit requirements, plans of care, orders, etc.

- Ensure that all facility personnel, residents, and visitors follow established safety regulations, including fire protection/prevention, smoking regulations, infection control, etc.
- Review and investigate accidents/incidents and ensure that risk management reports are effectively created (e.g., falls, injuries, or an unknown source, abuse, etc.)
- Monitor to determine the effectiveness of the facility’s risk management program
- Ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean and safe manner for resident comfort and convenience by assuring that necessary equipment and supplies are maintained to perform such duties/services
- Review and interpret monthly financial statements and provide such information to the governing board
- Participate in creating facility budgets as it pertains to census goals, rate management, labor management, and expenses control
- Establish process and procedures that ensure facility achieves the all budgets and goals
- In collaboration with A/R support, ensure collections are timely and in its entirety by developing and implementing collections policies and procedures
- Report suspected or known incidents of fraud relative to false billings, filing of false cost reports, receipt/payment of kickbacks etc., and any other illegal activity to the governing board and ensure reporting is made to appropriate agencies
- Ensure that the resident rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property, and civil rights, including the right to raise complaints, are well established and maintained at all times
- Review resident complaints and grievances, discuss actions with resident and family as appropriate, and make written reports of action taken
- Ensure that resident funds are maintained and appropriate accounting records are employed by the facility in accordance with current, applicable regulations and laws
- Perform other duties as assigned or as needed for the facility to be in compliance with all appliable federal, state, and local regulations and laws
- Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, staff, and supervisors

Risk, Safety & Compliance
- Act as the community’s Safety Coordinator: oversee workplace safety programs, ensure incident reporting, support workers’ compensation processes, and lead safety initiatives.
- Identify and report resident concerns related to physical, mental, or emotional well-being.
- Participate in on-call rotation and support emergency response as needed.
What You Bring (Qualifications)
Experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in environmental services, facilities management, plant operations, or maintenance preferably in healthcare, senior living, or a residential community.
- 3+ years of supervisory or management experience leading diverse teams.
- Prior experience with building systems (HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, electrical/mechanical systems, automation, and life/safety equipment).
- CCRC or healthcare environment experience strongly preferred.
Education
- High school diploma required; 2+ years of college or trade school coursework in engineering, facilities management, or environmental services preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field strongly preferred.
Key Knowledge & Skills
- Regulatory & Compliance: Deep understanding of building codes, construction regulations, OSHA/OSHPD, Titles 8, 19, 22 & 24, ADA, and environmental compliance.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics; strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
- Safety & Risk Management: Expertise in workplace safety, hazardous materials handling, emergency response, and risk mitigation.
- Operational Excellence: Skilled in housekeeping, maintenance, landscaping, sanitation, and environmental cleaning standards.
- Project Management: Strong planning, scheduling, and vendor management experience.
- Technology Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office and capable of learning maintenance, inventory, and HR systems.
- Communication & Leadership: Collaborative, calm under pressure, resident-centered, and able to lead with empathy and professionalism.

Education, License & Cert: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience: Experience in health care working directly with individuals. Long term care experience preferred. Works in service field including, but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology. Keeps up‐to‐date in field of therapeutic recreation, rehab/volunteer services. Ability to do oral presentations and teaching for groups/individuals. Demonstrates commitment to resident care. Act 34 Clearance (criminal background check).
Essential Functions: 1. Compliance with rules and regulations of all federal, state, and local governments is a requirement of employment.
2. Participates in the development of the plan of treatment.
3. Participates in team and interdisciplinary conferences as needed.
4. Plans constructively with resident and family to restore resident to optimum capacity through recreational activities.
5. Provides, in conjunction with activity director, an organized on‐going program of meaningful activities designed to meet the interest, physical, mental, and psychosocial well‐being of each resident in accordance with the comprehensive resident assessment.
6. Promotes/maintains resident’s sense of usefulness to self/others, stimulates and supports desire to use his/her physical/mental capabilities to fullest extent, and enables resident to maintain sense of usefulness and self‐respect.
7. Implements a planned program of activities to include group/independent programs for all residents at various times of day and evening, seven days a week, which requires weekends and up to three evenings per week. (Holiday schedule will be determined by management.)
8. Assists in the development of a care plan for each resident.
9. Assists Director of Activities in efforts to orient, train, and supervise volunteers.
10. Keeps Activity Director informed of problems, needs, and resident progress.
11. Attends meetings as required such as committee meetings and resident care conferences.
12. Maintains appropriate department records and files.
13. Assumes other responsibilities as required, reasonably related.
14. Keeps informed of fire, safety, and disaster programs.
15. Attends designated inservice programs.
