Amteck is currently looking to hire Traveling Electrical Helpers for our SC Service Dept. We offer long-term opportunities as well as steady work, benefits and a 401K. After completion you will be able to move to another project within Amteck. We are looking for people who are interested in working with a company that promotes growth and longevity within the trade. You will have the ability to diversify your electrical skill set with being able to learn others within Amteck. We have training for low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation among other skill sets.
Requirements include but aren't limited to the following:
- 2+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites
- Ability to install conduit, wire and cable systems as required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboards and other electrical equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment or systems
- OSHA10 preferred but not required

We are seeking a Project Manager to drive excellence in our cutting-edge Technologies division. From structured cabling to integrated security and AV systems, you'll lead teams that power the backbone of intelligent buildings nationwide.
The Technologies Project Manager leads the execution of low-voltage electrical and critical systems projects, including structured cabling, physical security (access control, CCTV, intrusion), audiovisual, and wireless connectivity. This role ensures project delivery excellence for clients across industries such as financial services, data centers, healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, retail, and technology. The Project Manager is accountable for safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.
This position will be based out of Dyersburg, TN, and will require travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of project execution, from planning and scheduling to closeout, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Lead project kickoff meetings, define schedules, and conduct site walk-throughs with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and suppliers to manage project progress, material deliveries, and shop drawing requirements.
- Manage workforce planning, performance, and development of installation teams.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment and client satisfaction.
- Track and report on project costs, profitability, and change orders; approve invoices and timesheets.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and provide necessary training and PPE.
- Conduct on-site inspections and deliver required closeout documentation, including as-built drawings and certification reports.
- Foster relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to support business growth and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 1-5 years of project management experience in construction or telecommunications, with a background in low voltage systems (copper, fiber, grounding).
- Demonstrated leadership in leading projects and teams.
- Proficiency in project management software preferred (e.g., MS Office, Bluebeam, MS Project).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Certifications such as PMP, RTPM, BICSI Technician, or RCDD are preferred.
- OSHA 10 or 30 are advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.

Amteck is currently looking to hire an Electrical Service Project Manager for our office located in Greenville, SC.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop relationships with potential new customers for all electrical service needs
- Works directly with customers to develop service and maintenance programs that fit their needs
- Work with the Regional Manager to develop service & maintenance goals
- Oversees, delegates, and monitors projects & customers assigned to them.
- All field-related work they are responsible for to ensure thoroughness and quality completion of work
- Schedules resources, including materials and service technicians, for daily and weekly needs
- Ensures timely billing of multiple jobs
- Reviews and interprets blueprints/shop drawings and other project documents to formulate an accurate execution approach
- Conducts project estimating for all maintenance projects
- Cultivates working relationships with clients to maintain ongoing services
- Clearly understands the scope of work/ responsibilities of other trades at the worksite
- Makes routine inspections of assigned projects. Makes routine inspections of projects to verify that project scope and specifications, company standards, and compliance are within the local and National Electric Code
- Conducts job openings and closeout
- Possesses ability and knowledge pertaining to: preventive maintenance of electrical systems, backup generators, lighting (interior & exterior), troubleshooting electrical systems, and understanding and enforcement of safety requirements
Requirements include but are not limited to:
- 10+ years of experience in an electrical service management role
- Experience with business development
- Ability to read engineering design drawings and specifications
- Demonstrated leadership and/or supervisory skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, including senior management

We are growing and are adding an Electrical Service Estimator to our team in Greenville, SC.
Primary Role:
A Service Estimator is responsible for cost calculations to determine how much it will cost a company to complete a project or provide products and services to its clients. They do this by researching the costs of the materials, transport, labor, and equipment. Service Estimators mostly focus on Service-related projects, typically $5 million or less in electrical contract value, in the region they are located in.
Responsibilities:
- Attend pre-bid meetings (Could require overnight stay)
- Review electrical, controls and instrumentation drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop detailed material and labor estimates.
- Create scope of work narratives based on bid documents, site conditions, and schedule requirements.
- Identify scope gaps, exclusions, clarifications, and potential risks.
- Provide material alternates, unit pricing, and value engineering options to support customer's needs.
- Solicit and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
- Attend bid review meetings with management team.
- Coordinate with project managers, operations, and field leadership during estimate handoff.
- Support and participate in post bid and preconstruction meetings.
- Assist with contract reviews to confirm scope activities and contractor responsibilities.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of field experience in electrical construction, industrial and commercial
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced work environment with very tight deadlines
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to travel periodically
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Accubid Anywhere and LiveCount Cloud software OR the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software

Amteck Technologies specializes in the design, installation, testing, certification, and support of structured cabling systems. This also includes systems installation and certification of fire alarms, paging/sound, CCTV and CATV. Role Overview:
We are adding a Low Voltage Estimator to our Technologies team. Estimators in the Technologies department work with key individuals as well as our customers to price infrastructure and system projects such as Access Control, Intrusion, and CCTV. Estimators manage multiple project bids simultaneously and often must prioritize bids based on time constraints. They also attend site surveys and meetings as needed including but not limited to client meetings where they are called on to efficiently present our proposal and scope of work. The right individual for this role has a strong background in low voltage installation on large commercial projects and is well-versed in ANSI/TIA standards and BICSI best practices. They are also high-energy, high-integrity with strong communication skills and an aptitude for risk management and conflict resolution.
This position will be based out of our Lexington, KY or Columbia, SC offices, and will report to the Preconstruction Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Price structures for design/execution of large commercial projects such as Special System infrastructure and components, access control, intrusion, and CCTV
- Manage multiple project bids simultaneously, continuously prioritizing based on needs of the customer and the department
- Attend site surveys, pr-bid meetings, and project management meetings as needed
- Recognize and communicate risk on projects
- Organize and prepare scope of work description and price proposal
- Attend meetings with customers to present proposals and scope of work efficiently
- Prepare complete estimates and complete pricing for the necessary disciplines of work required
- Analyze key components of the project which may be used to the company’s advantage in becoming the successful bidder
- Review successful bid/proposals with the project management team
- Assist in change order pricing as needed
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in estimating low-voltage, commercial projects
- Large construction project experience
- Ability to review large bid packages for Div 27 &28 scope and spec details
- Experience working with a scope of 2,000+ cables
- Experience pricing systems installation (Access Control, Intrusion, CCTV) is preferred but not required
- Possesses strong oral and written communication skills
- Fluent in ANSI/TIA standards and BICSI best practices
- Demonstrates strong conflict resolution and risk management skills
- Experience working with MS Office, Visio, and Accubid
