in speaking with new grads (Mentorship provided), internship trained, or
experienced DVMs.

are a progressive 8 Doctor Practice that has a team based approach to medicine

schedule encourages a healthy work life balance with doctors working 3-4 shifts

OUR HOSPITAL
We have recently moved into our brand new facility!
Our hospital has 10 exam rooms, 2 comfort rooms with outdoor
access, two well equipped small animal surgery suites, a dental suite with 2
dental tables, a large treatment area with an ICU for our hospital patients,
separate dog and cat housing areas in the hospital, a large oxygen cage.
Our Idexx
in-house lab is state of the art making our diagnostic capabilities second to
none. Our hospital uses digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, endoscopy,
ultrasound, orthopedic equipment, gas anesthesia and all our patients are
monitored with - pulse ox, EKG, blood pressure.
THE AREA
We
are located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, close to Mount Rushmore. The
area is known for hiking, camping, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, water
skiing, rock climbing, ice climbing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling,
trail riding and rodeo. If you enjoy the outdoors you will love it here!!
Rapid City has
a population of 70,000 with the surrounding area of about 130,000 and is
rapidly growing.

- Minimum guaranteed salary starting at $160,000 depending on experience

- Annual CE stipend of $4,000 (4 days)
- Schedule:
- 6pm - 7am; 3 shifts on - 6 shifts off; 9-12 shifts per month

- Two dedicated treatment areas, one of General Practice & one for Emergency & Critical Care.
- Feline-friendly areas throughout the entire hospital.

- You will have access to Ultrasound, Digital Radiology, Endoscopy, multiple oxygen cages, pumps, full in-house Idexx lab, and more.
- Two surgery suites
- Full ICU & Isolation areas for both canines & felines
- In-house rehabilitation center, Alternative Medicine & General Practice Doctor for long-term care treatment plans
