The Supply Quality Manager, Ingredients & Packaging is responsible for the compliance of incoming ingredients, packaging, and chemical products and their perspective suppliers, with the Quality and Food Safety Standards of Lactalis Heritage Dairy (LHD). The Supply Quality Manager, Ingredients & Packaging reviews, assesses, and approves ingredients, packaging, and chemicals against Food Safety and Quality standards at onboarding and on a continuous basis. In addition, this position conducts sanitation and GMP audits in plants to maintain and improve quality standards, as needed. In addition, the Supply Quality Manager, Ingredients & Packaging works closely with the Purchasing Department, assisting with the onboarding of new ingredients, packaging, chemicals, and suppliers.

• Schedules, plans, and executes food safety & food quality audits for existing and potential
• ingredients/packaging/chemical suppliers.
• Utilizes the principles of GFSI, HACCP & ISO 9001/22000 in audits to assess food

• Monitors and follows up with manufacturing plants to ensure the full implementation of
• corrective actions.
• Provides technical input on food safety of ingredients and packaging materials on product

• Organizes and plans a detailed schedule to ensure supply/facility audits are efficiently

• Bachelor's degree in microbiology, food science, dairy science, life sciences or equivalent or

• Experience in food manufacturing is required.

• 5-7 years related experience, including active involvement in Quality Programs in a Food and Beverage manufacturing environment.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Solid knowledge of GFSI, HACCP, US food regulations.

Production team members are responsible for working in a variety of cheese making production functions to ensure continuous and efficient line operation. Candidates must be able to work over 40 hours per week (weekends are required). This job is physical and fast-paced.

* Meet efficiency budget levels with maintaining a high quality product

* Must remove and load trays/molds

* Stage bascular with appropriate cookie sheets

* Complete repetition task, ensuring the even spread of curd into appropriate mold

* Ensure all whey pipes are properly hooked up

* Turn cheese in draining rooms

Summary: Responsible for operation and maintenance of the bulk filler machine system.

1. Perform pre-shift operational inspection to determine condition of filling machine.

2. Sets up filling machine and related equipment for product to be run.

3. Monitors filling machine during line operation to ensure proper operation and efficiency.

4. Troubleshoots and resolve operational /mechanical problems in a timely basis to ensure an efficient, smooth flow of product.

5. Monitors package seal impressions, integrity, and product giveaway.

6. Changes film in a timely manner to fashion to ensure a continuous, efficient flow of product.

7. Perform product changeover(s) as needed.

8. Performs preventative maintenance on a daily/weekly schedule as required.

9. Maintains an open line of communication with production palletizer, and lead person/supervisor.

10. Perform proper sanitation of the filler before introducing the product.

11. Continuously monitors for abnormalities or inconsistencies in the texture, shape, color, odor or foreign material in or on the product.

12. Continuously monitors for proper code date, lot number and operator code product to be packaged.

13. Familiarizes self with all standard operating procedures.

14. Continuously monitors for proper product temperature during filling.

15. Continuously monitors the cup wash, ensures that it is on and working correctly.

Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Marketing Intern based in New York City.

As a Marketing Intern, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to execution of the President marketing plan. The role includes developing new packaging, new product launches, strategic execution of marketing plan, communication, data analysis of the market and competition, coordination of omnichannel campaigns. Additionally, the Marketing Intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams internally (R&D, QA, Legal, Plant etc.) and external agencies to align duties with the company's goals and values.

* Develop new packaging and coordinate the end-to-end execution of new product launches.

* Analyze complex market datasets and competitive trends using Excel to identify actionable business insights

* Assist the implementation and execution of President marketing plan and consumer promotions

* Create professional, high impact sales & marketing materials and presentations that balance visual appeal with clear data visualization

* Coordinate and implement digital marketing and shopper marketing programs to drive brand awareness and trial

* Report on sales performance and marketing ROI and campaign effectiveness by synthesizing analytical findings into actionable insights

* Market research and data mining projects to uncover insights and opportunities within the category

Education
