What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:
  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
  • Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
  • Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications you'll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience

Position Purpose:

This is an entry level driver training role. This driver is responsible for learning to and/or gaining experience in driving a tractor trailerΒ or straight truck intrastate and/or interstate on local, over-the-toad (OTR), shuttle, and/or overnight routes to deliver and unloadΒ various food and food related products to customers. All routes are expected to be completed safely in accordance with all CompanyΒ policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The Driver Trainee communicates and interacts with customers, vendorsΒ and co-workers professionally ensuring all services and duties are executed in accordance with preferred work methods andΒ customer service practices. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any dutyΒ assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Attends and successfully completes PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program as required.Β  All training documentation is completed and maintained per requirements.Β 
  • Rides-with and assists driver trainer in executing deliveries as required. Follow all instructions and directions provided by driverΒ trainer.Β 
  • Perform all required safety checks (i.e. pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department ofΒ Transportation (DOT) regulations; inspect tractor/truck and trailer to insure they meet company safety standards and take appropriateΒ action as needed. Report all safety issues and/or repairs required.Β 
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies. Immediately report any and all safety hazards.Β 
  • Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight. Perform count check of items and check customer invoices of products thatΒ have been loaded. Check and complete in an accurate and in legible fashion all required paperwork associated with freight. MoveΒ tractor to the loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed.Β Β 
  • Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule.Β 
  • Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas. Perform damage control checks on items,Β scanning and contact supervisor about removing orders according to company policy. Verify delivery of items with customer andΒ obtain proper signatures. Collect money (cash or checks) where required. Load customer returns on to trailer and secure trailer doors.Β 
  • Ensure that tractor, trailer and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured at all times.Β 
  • Unload damaged goods and customer returns and bring to the driver check-in and complete necessary paperwork. Unload allΒ equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required.
  • Complete daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state and company requirements.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean as required. At the end of theΒ shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.Β 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
0-6 months commercial driving experience
β€’ Valid CDL A
β€’ Must be 21 years of age
β€’ Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements
(where applicable)
β€’ Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
β€’ Pass post offer drug test
β€’ Pass road test
β€’ Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card
β€’ Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from approximately 60 to 90 pounds, depending on the location

Schedule

40+ hours a week guaranteed, locations to vary, however the same days off will be pretty consistent. Most of the shifts you work will be over night grave shifts , some of them will be swing and occasionally we will ask you to work days. We do our best to give you a consistent schedule and as we grow other opportunities may become available.


1st Year Hourly Pay: $30.00 + $1.00/hour (uniform maintenance) = $31.00/hr


2nd year Hourly Pay or when you make supervisor, whichever is first: $32.00 + $1.00/hour (uniform maintenance) = $33.00/hr


Vacation Time: 24 hours the 1st year (based on working 40 hours/week) then an additional 8 hours added every year thereafter (2nd year 32 hrs, 3rd year 40 hrs, 4th year 48 hrs, etc.)


Annual Bonus: We pay $100 for the 1st year anniversary and an additional $100 for every year thereafter. (2nd year $200, 3rd year $300, etc)


Birthday Gift: Every year on your birthday you will receive an Amazon gift card.

Job Description: Our Flex Officers are trained to work at every job site within SGT. This includes working mobile vehicle patrol. We depend on our Flex Officers to work a job site whenever there is a call off or a fire watch. Typical job site locations would be; San Francisco, Berkeley, Redwood City, Fremont, San Jose, Mountain View, etc.

The mobile vehicle patrol aspect of this job will have you driving all of the Bay Area in a marked security vehicle (picked up in Newark CA), which is usually a black Ford Explorer with light bar and spotlights. Officers visit many different properties throughout each night. Typical mobile patrol duties are to look for anything unusual, enforce parking rules, scan checkpoints, write detailed reports w/pictures, and respond to calls for service like an alarm or noise complaint.


Summary: Essentially we depend on our Flex Officers for just about everything. We are still a startup company so you must be "ALL IN" on this opportunity, which simply means you are dedicated to do whatever is needed to take care of our clients. Normally we work 8 hour shift, however sometimes this means working 12 hour shifts and working extra days to help cover open shifts. However, our goal is for everyone to be able to make great money and not have to work overtime on a regular basis.

Once a Flex Officer has been shown to be proficient at all SGT job locations, that officer may be promoted to Supervisor and a $2/hour increase in pay. Supervisors are then groomed to become managers.


Job Duties Including But Not Limited To:

  • Drive from property to property in a marked security vehicle.
  • Post check security officers for well being and uniform inspections.
  • Train security officers on post orders and standard operating procedures.
  • Work post sites when officers are late or call off.
  • Answer phones and dispatch the officers in the field for service calls.
  • Respond to service calls.
  • Walk around the property checking areas of interest from Client.
  • Conduct patrol tours of using a checkpoint scanning system with smartphone.
  • Identify potential security risks and report them.
  • Complete incident reports and required reports for all security incidents using a smartphone.
  • Respond to emergencies or incidents and report them.
  • Assist employees and visitors with any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed.
  • Meet with Clients.

Job Requirements:

  • Own Shopify Plus theme architecture and merchandising execution for both U.S. and EU sites, including homepage systems, PLP/PDP layouts, launch frameworks, and reusable modules.
  • Demonstrate deep hands-on knowledge of Shopify merchandising tools: metaobjects, metafields, automated collections, tagging, rules-based merchandising, and manual overrides.
  • Own taxonomy, category architecture, product hierarchy, hero logic, and visual priority across DTC (U.S. & EU) and Amazon.
  • Ensure regional relevance in merchandising while maintaining global brand and category consistency.

  • Lead Amazon merchandising excellence including PDP optimization, search discoverability, ratings and reviews, and Brand Store execution.

About the Role

We are looking for a National Account Manager, Amazon to join our expanding team. The National Account Manager, Amazon will be focused on growing the Splenda and SlimFast brands on Amazon. This role will report to the Omnichannel Director and work in collaboration with Heartland’s marketing team.


Primary Responsibilities:


Amazon Account Management

  • Responsible for Amazon sales target and P&L
  • Manage and improve account profitability
  • Own Amazon budget and target planning, strategy and overall account management

Amazon Advertising
