Space Control Coordinator

The Space Control Coordinator is responsible for managing vessel space allocation and ensuring optimal utilization of capacity across assigned service lanes. This role requires close coordination with Trade, Operations, Logistics, and Equipment teams to support accurate planning and maintain high utilization. Prior Ocean Carrier Space Control experience a plus.
Job description:
- Verify and maintain vessel schedule and space related information in the space control platform.
- Optimize all available allocations by strategically planning the vessels in close coordination with Trade, Operations, Logistics, and any other department involved, to maximize the space/weight allocations with full and empty containers.
- Monitor booking activities and cargo materialization to ensure proper planning of the ship; proactively provide clear summary of the review to Trade Management and make suggestions to postpone or adjust bookings in advance.
- Forecast loading figures (cargo and empty equipment) in close cooperation with Trade and Logistics departments, to provide best possible projections for each voyage.
- Coordinate empty container planning with the Equipment Department to optimize full & empty container loading to achieve 100% TEU allocation utilization.
- Calculate and report loading forecast for all US port based on customer & trade knowledge, statistical analysis, and cargo readiness information.
- Support Commercial group and related departments by responding to queries related to space approvals and questions about routing solutions, transit times, and vessel schedules.
- Assist with special projects assigned by management.

Responsibilities
- Maintain physical filing systems for QA documentation, including scanning, filing, archiving, and retrieval of controlled records.
- Issue controlled copies of GMP documents following established document control procedures.

ROTHA Contracting Company, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager/Construction Inspector to support roadway, bridge, and heavy civil construction projects for State and public agencies. The Quality Control Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining project-specific Quality Control Programs to ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with contract documents, DOT specifications, permits, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a project-specific Quality Control (QC) Program

- Prior experience on DOT or public infrastructure projects
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents

Quality Control Inspector III/ CMM Programmer
Overview:
The Quality Control Inspector/Programmer is responsible for visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies. This role inspects parts to engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), work orders, industry standards, and specifications. The inspector may report detailed inspection accept / reject information directly to the customer with shipments.
Minimum Required Qualifications :
- Technical school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience with Mechanical / Electronic part inspection in a manufacturing or production Environment.
- Experience in quality with machined / mechanical parts using GD&T interpretation, able to do programs for automatic inspection with Optical Vision Systems and CMMs. plus. Able to use Profilometers and special Microscopes for visual characteristics with other measuring tools and instruments.
- Knowledgeable with AS9102 FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) documentation and Inspection.
- Familiar with AQL, sampling methods and traceability.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills required for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organization, as well as any and all outside agents, including but not limited to; vendors, suppliers, customers, etc.
- Strong computer literacy, with MS Office/PC expertise and demonstrated experience with applicable systems, programs, equipment, etc.
- Must be a US Citizen.

- Train other inspection personnel on CMM software and manual measurement techniques.
- Perform Mechanical measurements and visual quality assessments of received items, work-in-progress and finished goods.

- Inspect with thread gages, GO/NO-GO plug gages, V-Blocks, Gage Blocks, height stands, dial indicators, various types of ID/OD micrometers, inspection of thread Pitch Diameter with special gages.
- Generate spreadsheets for data collection, evaluate history of product and recommend on Sample Size as per an AQL
- Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments
- Interact with source inspector as needed and part-take in source inspection duties if necessary.
- Read, understand and interpret Mechanical/Electronic drawings.
- Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and physical measurement of the product., rejecting if necessary and processing part thru to the next step.
- Approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual, physical measurement and physical measurement of the product., communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
- Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and physical measurement of the product.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality database
- Always verify equipment is operational and calibrated, follow operating instructions and coordinate repairs
- Work with Engineering, Operations, and other sources to resolve issues and meet goals

Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for the operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of manufacturing instrumentation and process control systems.
• Work closely with operations, process engineers, and maintenance to understand the business and user needs and priorities.
• Provide full life cycle support of control systems in the area, including developing requirements, programming support, commissioning, and ongoing hardware and software maintenance.
• Support upgrade projects for existing Reliance Automax Machine Coordinated Drive Control Systems including identifying system hardware and software architecture improvement opportunities.
• Provide hardware and integration support for Ethernet based control systems in the plant IT environment.
• Work with maintenance to develop data driven reliability improvement opportunities, as well as troubleshoot system hardware, resolve software malfunctions, and assist in system improvements and software upgrades.
• Implement improvements in systems capabilities that will increase the ability to meet customer requirements, including safe and reliable operations, and improve business competitiveness.
Qualifications:
• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or Electro-Mechanical Technology (Mechatronics) or Equivalent Experience
• Knowledge and understanding of Rockwell Automation PLC's and Process Control DCS
• Communication skills; ability to interact with operator/mechanics/process engineers/staff/management
• Knowledge of Rockwell VFD’s, their application and configuration
• Ability to complete work independently and through influence
• Ability to lead and participate on teams, including outside contractors
• Ability to configuring, documenting, and troubleshooting control systems
