We are looking for a highly creative photography and video content creator with expert knowledge of graphic design to join our team to lead the content creation for our social media channels. You will be required to create original content, photography, video, and multimedia content to drive brand love, engagement, and revenue through our social channels. This role involves working in a dynamic, fast-paced and feedback-driven environment to solve complex business problems where you will be given the opportunity to add value from day one.
This role is a full-time hourly position job and requires you to be based out of New York City. Candidates must submit portfolio of content created together with the application.

What you'll do:
Short-Form Social Content Creation
- Film and edit short-form, social-first videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok during in-office content days.
- Capture a mix of content including product features, styling videos, behind-the-scenes moments, trend-based content, and founder-led clips.
- Edit and deliver multiple pieces of content per filming day optimized for each platform.
In-Office & On-Set Filming
- Work on-site to film content using an iPhone and simple production tools (tripods, ring lights, mics).
- Attend photoshoots, launches, and content days to capture behind-the-scenes footage and real-time social assets.
- Document day-to-day brand moments that can be turned into engaging social content.
Trend Awareness & Platform Thinking
- Stay up to date on TikTok and Instagram trends, adapting relevant formats and sounds for our brands.
- Contribute ideas for new social concepts and recurring content formats.
Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with the social media and marketing teams to align content with upcoming launches and campaigns.
- Help ensure content reflects each brand’s voice, aesthetic, and social strategy.
- Support founders or team members with casual, on-the-fly social content when needed.
What You’ll Need
- 1–3 years of experience creating social content for brands, creators, or personal platforms.
- Strong comfort level filming and editing short-form video (iPhone and/or camera).
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and current social trends.
- Working knowledge of basic editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, Photoshop, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple content needs across two brands.
- Ability to work in our NYC office on scheduled days and attend shoots as needed.

The Role
As a Design Intern at Absolutely Ridiculous, you'll be hands-on in the creative heart of the fastest-growing sports and lifestyle brand in the world. Working directly alongside our founder and Creative Director in addition to our design team in-house and remote, you'll support the full design lifecycle—from initial concept through production-ready tech packs—across our hard goods, soft goods, and marketing channels.
What You’ll Get To Do
- Assist in the development and review of tech packs for new product releases, ensuring design intent is accurately translated for manufacturing partners
- Support hard goods design across our core product lines—baseball and softball gloves, sliding mitts, and protective accessories — with attention to construction, materials, colorways, and brand consistency
- Contribute to soft goods design for headwear, apparel, and lifestyle products, helping bring our art-forward aesthetic to wearable categories
- Create and adapt marketing graphics for product launches, social media drops, and brand campaigns—including assets for the brand's signature sneaker-culture drop model
- Collaborate with the creative team on concept development for upcoming collections and collaborations

Who You Are
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, Fashion Design, or a related field
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop required; InDesign a plus) Familiar with tech pack creation or eager to learn the process; understanding of product construction basics (leather goods, stitching, hardware) is a plus

Key Responsibilities:
Production & Supplier Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for mills; flag potential delays and ensure all target completion dates are met.
- Clearly communicate technical fabric questions to overseas factories to ensure standards are maintained.
- Request FDS sheets and collaborate with suppliers on pricing, minimums, width, and content; source local sub-proto yardage as needed.

Summary:
The A.L.C Client Advisor is a fashion industry professional specializing in styling services to boutique guests, celebrities, public figures, and high-profile individuals. The primary role of a stylist is to curate outfits, select clothing, accessories, and overall looks for guests, ensuring they appear stylish, polished, and on-trend for various events, red-carpet appearances, photo shoots, interviews, public appearances, and life in general.
Responsibilities
Sales Performance:
- Achieve and exceed sales and metric goals
- Utilize product knowledge and trends to provide relevant styling suggestions
- Actively engage with customers, building relationships to drive repeat business
- Maintain knowledge of store key performance metrics and work towards targets
- Collaborate with the management team to develop action plans and sales strategies
Customer Service/Clienteling:
- Strive to exceed customer expectations by providing outstanding service experiences when interacting with customers
- Assist customers by selecting appropriate styles based on their needs and preferences
- Use Product Knowledge to speak to the collection’s vision and the product’s quality
- Build & maintain an organized client book to generate appointments and drive sales volume through consistent outreach and follow up
- Proactively reach out to clients based on their preferences and past purchases
Sales Floor/Operations:
- Maintain the visual presentation of the store, ensuring VM standards are met
- Assist in floor sets and replenishment of merchandise as needed
- Complete opening and closing duties
- Uphold operational expectations through stock handling, shipping, and receiving, careful packing, light to moderate lifting, and, depending on the location, stairs while lifting.
- Collaborate with the management team to oversee any additional operational tasks

- Clothing Selection: Choosing suiting, dresses, separates and accessories that align with the client's style, body type, and the occasion.
- Fashion Coordination: Creating cohesive outfits, coordinating colors, patterns, and textures to achieve a desired aesthetic.
- Trend Analysis: Staying up to date with the latest fashion trends, collections, and releases to keep clients fashionable and ahead of the curve.
- Collaboration: Working closely with team and management to reinforce outfits and accessories for clients' appearances positively.
- Fitting: Ensuring garments fit ideally or assisting by coordinating with seamstresses.
- Accessorizing: Selecting the handbags and other accessories to complement the overall look and add layering.
- Red Carpet and Event Styling: Preparing clients for high-profile events such as award shows, premieres, and weddings, ensuring they make a memorable and fashionable impact.
Stylists work closely with guests to understand their preferences, comfort zones, and long-term image goals. They act as fashion consultants, confidants, and creative partners, helping build and evolve their personal connections through clothing and style choices.
Becoming a successful A.L.C. Stylist requires a deep understanding of fashion, a keen eye for trends, strong networking skills, and the ability to adapt to diverse personalities and preferences. Our Stylists gain recognition and build trust through their guests' appearances in causal settings, red-carpet events, and social media platforms.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail role, preferably with a fashion luxury/contemporary brand
- Strong sales, customer service, and communication skills
- Basic computer skills in retail point of sales system, excel, and word
- Organizational skills and an eye for detail
- A positive, high energy, entrepreneurial spirit
- A team player who is inspired by other’s successes as well as your own
- Able to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays
The compensation for this position ranges from $42,500 to $52,000 annually. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
