Job Description Summary
At Bel, the vision for the Strategic Insights department (SI) is to become a competitive advantage for the company, running a Best-in-class Insights & Foresights factory, powered by big & smart data analytics.
The Director of Business Analytics North America belongs to the global SI team (around 20 people), with a direct reporting line to the Head of Strategic Insights for North America. This hybrid role will be located in Bel’s Chicago or New York City US HQ offices. The Director of Business Analytics, North America, is a strategic leadership position focused on driving data-driven decision-making and business growth across the U.S. and Canada. This role collaborates with various departments, including marketing, innovation, finance, supply chain, and sales—to turn consumer and market insights into actionable strategies. This role brings together consumer understanding, shopper insights, advanced analytics, and market performance data to shape strategy and fuel brand growth. This position also supports global initiatives by sharing North American insights and activating global Strategic Insights tools across the region. The Director of Business Analytics will have a Business Analyst as a direct report.
Main responsibilities include:
Support the Head of Strategic Insights for North America & broader North America Strategic Insights team to lead the relevant learning agenda & roadmap to address local key business priorities.
- Leverage trends, data, consumer & shopper insights, and other relevant resources, such as macroeconomics, to inform local strategies, accelerate business growth and identify new business opportunities.
- Identify learning gaps and turn them into learning roadmap with clear objectives.
- Manage the Analytics portion of the Strategic Insights budget with agility and a strong ROI mindset
- Leverage data & analytics agency partnerships to maximize added value.
- Recommend potential new vendors and methodologies to address key business issues in the most efficient and impactful way.
Drive and expand data & analytics culture and usage (sell out data, consumer data, retailer data)
- Drive business and brand performance analysis and processes.
- Develop and manage analytic tools on both ongoing and ad-hoc basis in partnership with Global Business Analytics lead.
- Support the development and adoption of forecasting and analytics tools.
- Strengthen North America’s data-driven culture and insights-led decision making
- Upskill & Train the local teams leveraging analysis templates and tools developed by the Strategic Insights Business Analytics group (RGM, Sales uplift, etc.)
- Lead the data set-up of the new “(healthy) snacking” competitive environment
- Leverage various data sources (POS data, HH purchase dynamics, consumption trends, etc.) to explain drivers of business performance and inform tactical & strategic business decisions with actionable recommendations.
- Translate data into clear, persuasive reports and presentations for senior leadership.
- Support Marketing, Sales, Finance and Supply Chain teams in category and retail ad hoc analysis to understand underlying trends and impact to brand/retailer volume performance.
- Drive media effectiveness and efficiency for all brands. Provide guidance on opportunities to optimize or improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency by leveraging Growth Drivers Models.
- Recommend appropriate tools to measure marketing campaigns effectiveness and ROI (i.e. marketing mix, etc.) according to level of investment, stakes and Bel Group requirements. Partner with the global business analytics lead on measurement projects pilot and internalization (in-house MMM)
- Build and lead the North America learning agenda aligned with business priorities.
- Identify insight gaps and recommend the right mix of syndicated data and custom research.
Lead and coach the NorAm cheese & squeeze business analyst
- Actively identify strengths and areas of opportunities for the Business Analyst through regular feedback, hands on coaching and stretch assignments that build confidence and leadership capabilities.
- Build development plans for the team to grow their skillset in alignment with the company needs and vision for the North American Strategic Insights department
- Create a culture of analytical rigor by setting standards for data quality, validation and insight generation across the team.
Contribute to the Strategic Insights full team life and mission:
- Responsible for transversal projects in the SI Community and Share business cases and best practices with other members across the globe.

PROFILE/SKILLS
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience and expertise as business analyst & consumer insights with a strong focus on business analytics, in FMCG space.
- Mastery working with data and data providers such as Circana/ Nielsen, Kantar, retailer data and loyalty cards analytic programs
- Experience working in a multicultural, international environment / company is necessary.
- Experience partnering with North American commercial teams; international experience is a plus.

How You'll Contribute:
The AV Installation and Support Services Technician is responsible for the installation, termination, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of low-voltage cabling systems, including voice, data, and video.
Assigned to Client and works full time from onsite location responsible for Installation and then maintaining the system after installation. Will conduct Preventive Maintenance and will assist with Service Tickets as needed. Will work with REMOTE support to troubleshoot Service Tickets as required.
This role ensures all work complies with industry standards and client requirements, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. Technician will work onsite and will be responsible for preventive maintenance of the systems and will work with remote service technicians to address service tickets as needed.
What You'll Do:
- Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling for voice, data, and video systems.
- Interpret blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams to determine cabling requirements and optimal routing.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on structured cabling systems and related hardware.
- Ensure all installations comply with relevant standards.
- Document all work performed, including test results and as-built drawings using BlueBeam.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure successful project completion.

Complexity:
This level of technician will be responsible for performing tasks on clients' jobsites with no supervision. This position is responsible for the coordination with clients, contractors and subcontractors. This position will be the key and only field technician in many situations and will be responsible for delegating work, working with remote support, and communicating with key stakeholders on behalf of the company. Requires maintaining quality control on all field work. This position requires the highest level of technical and people skills along with great communication skills.
Decision Making Authority:
This position is often alone on the job sites and requires making good judgement about decisions that need to be made. In general, the service manager, project manager and supervisor are available to answer questions, but this position is very independent and will be looked upon to make many onsite decisions on behalf of the service manager and company. This position requires good diplomacy in working with our clients and other key stakeholders on the job sites.

Physical Demands:

The employee can typically spend at least 60% of their time on their feet and be required to be mobile around the client site. The individual is regularly required to use keyboards, test equipment and controls required for installation projects. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth vision. Travel:
Travel by car and occasional airplane trips are required. Employee must possess a valid driver's license in their state of residence. Employee must possess a valid Passport for entry onto client site. Employee will be required to use their own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage at the current corporate rate. Occasional travel by airplane for out-of-town projects is required.

Job Description
The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs. This is a renewable, full-time, non-tenured, administrative position and reports to the Chancellor. The position may be primarily located in either Reno or Las Vegas, Nevada.
The NSHE is comprised of eight institutions: two universities, a state college, four community colleges and a research institute. The public system of higher education in Nevada continues to experience growth with significant challenges and opportunities in serving over 105,000 students and 15,000 employees.
The Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs serves as the chief academic and student affairs executive for NSHE, responsible for setting strategic direction, driving systemwide policy, and ensuring accountable implementation of initiatives that advance academic quality, student success, and research competitiveness.
As a key member of the Chancellor's Cabinet, the Vice Chancellor exercises enterprise-level leadership and decision-making authority, advising the Chancellor and Board of Regents on high-impact academic, student, and research policy issues. The role is accountable not only for policy development, but for translating strategy into execution across all NSHE institutions, ensuring consistency, compliance, and measurable outcomes.
This position leads the design and implementation of systemwide initiatives spanning academic programs, transfer and articulation, student services, financial aid, and research administration. The Vice Chancellor actively identifies emerging risks and opportunities, develops actionable solutions, and drives coordinated responses across multiple institutions and stakeholders.

SALARY GRADE: *This position offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with the candidate's education, experience, and certification/training. In addition to base salary, employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

Chair the Student Affairs Council, providing executive leadership and strategic direction for systemwide student affairs policies and initiatives. Lead the development, evaluation, and refinement of policies related to student services, including residency determinations and financial aid coordination. Identify systemic barriers and opportunities impacting student access, success, and equity, and work collaboratively with institutional leaders to develop and implement innovative, student-centered solutions. Ensure clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and alignment of policies with broader system goals and priorities.
Chair the Research Affairs Council, leading strategic planning and policy development to advance research across NSHE. Establish and communicate systemwide research priorities, goals, and performance expectations, and identify opportunities to enhance research productivity, collaboration, and external funding. Facilitate cross-institutional partnerships, address barriers to research growth, and provide data-informed recommendations to strengthen competitiveness. Guide the implementation of initiatives, including those associated with EPSCoR, ensuring alignment with state and national research priorities.
Provide executive oversight and strategic leadership for the NSHE Sponsored Programs and EPSCoR Office. Direct systemwide efforts to enhance research development, grant competitiveness, and external partnership engagement with state and federal agencies. Identify gaps and opportunities in research infrastructure and support services, and lead collaborative strategies to strengthen capacity and outcomes. Ensure alignment of sponsored program activities with system priorities and effectively advocate for resources and initiatives that advance NSHE's research mission.
Ensure executive-level oversight and quality assurance of data reporting and analytics across the Academic and Student Affairs division. Lead efforts to leverage data as a strategic asset, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity in dashboards, reports, and analyses. Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations that inform executive leadership, institutional strategy, and Board decision-making. Proactively identify trends, gaps, and emerging issues, and guide the development of data-informed strategies to improve system performance, accountability, and outcomes.
Provide strategic leadership and systemwide coordination related to the State's higher education attainment goals. Provide executive oversight and strategic guidance for NSHE's participation in SARA and membership in NC-SARA. Proactive analysis using SNMP, NetFlow, and Wireshark. Develop analysis via Python and Ansible for configuration.
Provides help desk support; responds to calls, emails, incident tickets, and/or inquiries from computer/network users and customers to resolve/troubleshoot microcomputer and minicomputer hardware or software issues; provides tech support in the field and after hours support. Integrate hybrid networking with AWS VPC and Azure VNet.
Provides systems administration for servers, patch installation and upgrade maintenance; installs, configures, and reimages desktop/laptop hardware and software; performs data backup and restores; and manages computer security and virus removal.
Ensures maintenance of NIST/HIPAA standards and network hardening.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Requires a two (2) year degree from an accredited trade, technical or vocational school, college or university with major coursework in computer science or closely related field.
(One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education.)
Requires four (4) years of experience in supporting users through analyzing, diagnosing and resolving computer systems issues related to desktop/laptop protocols and communication problems or closely related experience.

SCOPE OF WORK
The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the job as necessary.
Provides design, procurement, implementation, and administration of the network infrastructure - routers, switches, and plans; provides procurement, implementation, and administration of firewalls; provides administration of the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone system; and manages network related projects.
Analyzes, diagnoses, and rectifies issues related to server and/or desktop/laptop computer problems as they are reported on an emergency or non-emergency basis; including issues related to missing drives and group policy scripts.
Completes ad-hoc projects based on end user and Information Technology (IT) analyst needs, including troubleshooting and updating and maintaining file systems.
Performs change control tasks, including implementing and updating web applications as needed by application analysts; launches and implements any new technologies approved by management and special task force; studies, investigates, reviews, and recommends implementation of evolving and emerging technologies.
