Duties of the electrical test technician:

• Perform testing of electrical equipment, switchgear, and 3-phase power systems
• Conduct factory witness testing
• Assist with redline and schematic updates
• Test relays, circuit breakers, ATS's
• Document test results accurately
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards

Requirements of the electrical test technician:

• 2+ years of experience testing electrical equipment and systems
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints
• Understanding of electrical theory, controls, and low/medium voltage systems
• Experience with PLC/HMI preferred, but not required
• Diesel generator power control experience a plus

What You'll Accomplish

3D Modeling & Coordination

• Lead coordination of electrical and low voltage systems, identifying and resolving conflicts before they reach the field
• Develop detailed 3D models in Revit that serve as the single source of truth for project execution
• Collaborate with mechanical, plumbing, and structural coordinators to ensure seamless system integration
• Utilize Navisworks for clash detection and coordination with project teams

Fabrication & Installation Support

• Create precise spool drawings for pipe and hanger fabrication that optimize shop efficiency
• Generate clear installation drawings that guide field teams through complex electrical installations
• Develop point layouts for hanger placement using total station technology
• Produce detailed drawings for underground, overhead, in-wall, and architectural electrical systems

Field & Technology Integration

• Set up and support Trimble technology on-site based on project needs
• Work with 3D scans and point clouds using Recap Pro to capture existing conditions
• Bridge the gap between office modeling and field reality, ensuring designs are practical and constructible

What You Bring

The Project Manager is responsible for estimating, scheduling, billing, and coordinating electrical projects. Marketing current and prospected clients is very important to this position as well. Consistent support to the field provides customers and technicians with improved communication, technical support, and presence which are critical aspects of this role.

The Project Manager ensures that a project is completed on time and within budget, that the project's objectives are met and that everyone else is doing their job properly. Projects are usually separate to usual day-to-day business activities and require a group of people to work together to achieve a set of specific objectives. Project managers oversee the project to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used and the different interests involved are satisfied.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates customer and client solutions promptly, professionally, courteously and seamlessly

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5-8 year’s experience in Project Management of Construction or Electrical Trade Experience.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Preconstruction Manager to lead electrical preconstruction strategy across multiple projects and pursuits. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and preparing electrical scopes from early design through turnover to operations. The position ensures electrical systems are fully defined, coordinated, constructible, and aligned with project goals.

Working closely with Estimating, Design, Operations, and senior leadership, this role supports pursuits through scope development, design coordination, budgeting, scheduling, procurement planning, and risk mitigation. The Senior Electrical Preconstruction Manager also contributes to value engineering, supports major project pursuits, and helps mentor preconstruction staff while promoting best practices and continuous improvement within the electrical department.

Must Have

• BA/BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required. Equivalent work experience and training may be considered.
• Additional coursework in project management, construction management, electrical trade school, BIM, or CADD preferred.
• 5-10+ years of experience in the electrical industry, including 2+ years as an Electrical Project Manager or in Electrical Preconstruction required.
• Experience developing conceptual estimates and managing design for electrical and telecommunications/data systems highly desirable.
• Experience in design-build government (DoD), military, or large commercial construction projects preferred.
• Proficiency with MS 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) preferred.

The Electrical Instrument Technician maintains, constructs and repairs electrical distribution, lighting, computer and PLC systems within the plant, as well as assembles, installs, tests and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures. They will also diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

This position is for night shift Wednesday thru Saturday. 4pm-4am
