As a Harness Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the system integration team and will report to the System Integration Engineering Manager. The system integration team is a small group of highly motivated engineers designing, integrating, testing, and flying advanced mechanical and electrical systems. The harness engineer is a very cross-functional role at the convergence of the avionics, mechanical, integration, and production teams, with significant hands-on work designing, building, integrating, and testing our harnesses, enclosures, and mounting hardware; expect to broaden your design and application experience.

Responsibilities

In your role as a Harness Engineer you will work with the avionics, mechanical, and integration teams to define the harnessing design, including routing, component selection, and manufacturing and integration processes. You'll be responsible for the detailed design of both flight and test harnesses, and you'll be working with the production technicians and A&Ps to get the harnesses built and installed on the aircraft. You'll have the opportunity to design, install, and test your hardware on a remotely operated aircraft, and you'll be an instrumental part of how our hardware teams come together on the airplane.

Basic Success Criteria

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience

• 2+ years experience in electrical harness design

• Ability to route harnessing (both in CAD and physically in the airplane) in a strategic manner

• Experience working with connectors, backshells, EMI shielding, and cable/wire protection methods

Preferred Criteria

• Experience defining routing and bulkhead requirements

• Experience performing design trades for and detail design of aerospace flight harnesses

Job Description:

• This role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting FPGA-based solutions for advanced robotic and medical systems. The engineer will own RTL design from architecture through validation, working hands-on across the full FPGA development lifecycle, including simulation, timing closure, hardware bring-up, and system-level debugging.
• The position requires close collaboration with hardware, firmware, software, and systems teams in a highly cross-functional, regulated R&D environment to deliver reliable, safety-critical technology.

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining FPGA RTL using Verilog/SystemVerilog and/or VHDL
• Suporting the full FPGA development lifecycle, including synthesis, place-and-route, timing closure, and bitstream generation
• Performing functional simulation, verification, and system-level debugging.
• Supporting board bring-up, testing, integration, and validation.
• Collaborating closely with hardware, firmware, software, and systems engineering teams.
• Documenting design decisions, test results, and process improvements.
• Participating in design reviews and regulated development activities.

Experience:

• 4+ years of hands-on FPGA design and development experience.
• Strong understanding of digital logic, timing analysis, and debugging.
• Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Experience with FPGA toolchains such as Xilinx Vivado, Lattice Diamond, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Robotics design exposure.
• Strong collaboration and communication skill.

Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role located in Berkeley, CA. The IT Associate will Install, maintain and configure hardware and software systems according to company policies. Troubleshoot and repair network, hardware and software components. Perform routine maintenance and inspection of network and server systems. Administer and maintain Google Workspace and other company related software programs as assigned.

• Manage and maintain server hardware, storage solutions, and network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Manage user lifecycle processes, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access control.

    Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background supporting both Mac and Windows enterprise environments (over 500 end users), with a stronger emphasis on Mac. The IT Service Desk Technician provides basic technical assistance and support to internal end users as well as augments the IT Service Desk Team by performing repetitive tasks and functions, such as imagining hardware, swapping devices, and counting IT hardware inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Be the face of IT to corporate employees in the respective office location.
• Ensure that the physical IT technology in the office is operational (e.g. AV rooms, wifi, badge readers, cameras, etc).
• Oversee the suite of collaboration tooling in use and ensure end users have great experiences using the tools provided.
• Work to improve the procurement and asset management practices for IT hardware and software.
• Be responsible for the physical inventory of computer assets, and ensure the local equipment is tracked efficiently and securely.

Required Skills:

• Prior experience providing Desktop Support at Tier 2 levels as well as being in an active member of an on-call support rotation.
• Experience using desktop imagining and MDM tools, such as Intune, SmartImager, Imperious, and SmartDeploy.
• Thorough knowledge of PC hardware, PDA devices, desktop software, Windows 10 and 11, O365, anti-virus, internet browsers, and network connectivity.
• Hands-on experience working with and updating support tickets in a ticket management platform such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Jira.
• Customer focused approach to delivering excellent service and support to internal customers.

The estimated pay range for this position is USD $35.00/Hr. - USD $38.50/Hr.
