Locum Tenens Medical Oncologist in Boston, MA – outpatient solid tumor oncology (GI focus), Board Eligible/Board Certified, 6-month locum opportunity in the 02118 medical district.


Job Details

  • Location: Boston, MA 02118 (central Boston healthcare district; easy access to public transit and major hospitals)
  • Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Contract
  • Setting: Outpatient Oncology Clinic – solid tumor oncology and infusion clinic
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (8-hour shifts)
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Duration: 6 months (with opportunity to extend)
  • Call: No call, no weekends
  • Compensation: $700/hour; estimated weekly salary range $16,330 - $17,500

Qualifications / Job Requirements

  • MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Medical Oncology
  • Minimum 2 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in medical oncology with solid tumor expertise (GI oncology preferred)
  • Licensed or eligible for medical license in Massachusetts
  • BLS certification required
  • Experience with outpatient infusion and chemotherapy management
  • Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR systems
  • Strong interdisciplinary communication skills; experience collaborating with APPs and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient oncology care for adult patients with solid tumors, including GI malignancies
  • Conduct new patient consultations, follow-up visits, and develop/implement treatment plans
  • Manage chemotherapy and infusion visits in clinic/infusion 3 days per week
  • Allocate 2 days per week for administrative duties, urgent onsite management, and care coordination
  • Document thoroughly and maintain accurate patient records in EPIC
  • Participate in tumor board meetings and multidisciplinary care planning
  • Collaborate with inpatient teams to provide oncologic guidance for admitted patients as needed
  • Stay current with oncology best practices, clinical guidelines, and emerging therapies in solid tumor oncology

The Landman Negotiator will pursue opportunities to acquire real estate, including but not limited Oil and Gas Mineral interests, Coal, or Real Estate Property.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous negotiating experience.
  • Previous in depth landman or title work in oil and gas in the Utica Shale.
  • Knowledge of how to pull information out of court records.
  • Knowledge of how to pull together legal documents into a report.
  • Proven record of success in sales, preferably real estate.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Pursues opportunities to acquire real estate, including but not limited to Oil and Gas Mineral interests, Oil and Gas Leases, Coal, or Real Property.
  • Negotiates agreements for the acquisition of Oil and Gas Mineral interests, Coal, or Real Estate Property.
  • Builds and maintains positive working relationship with landowners in the community.
  • Responsible for securing rights to develop oil and gas rights in support of the exploration and development of hydrocarbons.
  • Draft and/or make redlines to surface use agreements, rights-of-way, easements and other surface contracts required to conduct oil and gas operations.
  • Utilizes experience with the development of oil and gas in the Utica Shale to identify ideal properties for acquisition.
  • Ensures that transactions are processed and closed in a timely manner.
  • Serves a liaison between the company and landowners.
  • Communicates issues involving title and contractual disputes to team and assist in resolution.
