Provides perioperative patient care, specifically in the intraoperative phase, in both the scrub and circulating roles according to established guidelines.  Serves the population from neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.  This position will be full-time exempt and paid a weekly salary to provide on-call coverage weeknights M-F, starting at 1800 each evening and ending at 0700 the next morning.  A commitment to work one 10-hour shift a pay period M-F between the hours of 0600 and 1800 will be in place at the discretion of the facilitator/manager.

Possession of a current or compact state license as a Registered Nurse issued/defined by the State of Iowa.  Operating Room experience preferred. 2.    Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Duke University Health System seeks to hire an experienced or new graduate CT Technologist who will embrace our mission of Advancing Health Together. The Duke University Hospital (DUH) campus supports a 1067 bed hospital known for expertise in Inpatient, Urgent Outpatient, OR, Interventional, ED/Trauma, PEDS, Cardiac, Oncology, and Transplant services. We have a total of 20 clinical scanners, including 14 in various locations, 5 in the OR, and 1 portable scanner for Neuro ICU. This role will primarly support our Inpatient and Emergency patients.

What you will do:

• Perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures.
• Position patients for CT scans using patient positioning devices and protective equipment as necessary.
• Perform exams accurately per established protocols, policy, and patient safety standards.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IV's, and injecting contrast, if applicable.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure and appropriately label. Film/transmit to Image Archival System.
• Schedule patients for procedures; assist with clerical functions.
• Charge procedures and supplies in EHR.
• Dispense and or order oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Provide orientation and training to new CT technologists.
• Provide care for the psychological and physical needs of patients and their families for CT scans.
• Provide education and training to student technologists.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work therein.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV placement for contrast administration.
• Demonstrate proficiency and accuracy in performance of all exam protocols.
• Assist with the education and training of new physicians (interns, residents, fellows, and attending's). If applicable.
• Assist radiologists and PhD's in developing new protocols and CT imaging techniques that are unique to facility.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification or currently holds required registry or certification.

Experience:

Level I

Must obtain CT certification within 18 months of employment.

Level II

Minimum of two years' experience as a CT technologist.

Level III

A minimum of 4 years' experience within specialty modality in which they are seeking promotion

Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification

Certification in one the following required: Radiography (R), Radiation Therapy (T), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), CNMT.

ARRT registered in Computed Tomography (CT) required within 18 months of employment.

BLS certification

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Schedule Management.
• Provide technical coaching and promote effective knowledge sharing across project and turnaround teams.
• Develop Schedule Management Plans for capital, expense, and turnaround projects.
• Build and maintain comprehensive Integrated Master Schedules, incorporating scope changes and delay impacts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform staffing density and staffing limitation checks to validate durations and ensure resource-leveling aligns with project strategy.
• Lead project teams in forecasting schedule challenges, offering data-driven analysis and recommending solutions for on-time completion.
• Utilize cost estimates to resource-load schedules, aligning schedule forecasts with project cost expectations and coordinating with cost management as needed.
• Conduct Critical Path Analysis to identify risks, constraints, and schedule bottlenecks.
• Evaluate project deviations to determine schedule impacts and support decision-making for recovery plans.
• Define and implement advanced Schedule Management solutions for capital projects, expense projects, and turnarounds.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the Schedule Work Process, including identifying cycle-time reduction opportunities.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Associate degree (Short‐Cycle Tertiary Degree) required.
• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, project scheduling, or related operational environments.
• Strong computer skills required.
• Primavera experience preferred, but candidates with strong general computer competency will be considered.
• Helpful experience includes:
• Turnaround scheduling or support
• Job planning familiarity
• Exposure to project controls or cost/schedule integration
• Ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Work Schedule

• Standard schedule: 4/10s (four 10-hour days).
• During execution periods, schedule may shift to:
• 6/1 rotation, and/or
• 12-hour days, as needed to support project demands.

We are looking to hire a Full-Time Registered Nurse for our Clinical Support Team (Float Pool) at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise! This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd. Hours for this position are 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. and colleagues self-schedule their working days.

About the department:  RNs working in the Clinical Support Team (Float Pool) care for a variety of patients in the general departments of medical/surgical, ortho, neuro, post-partum, and telemetry. You will not float to other Saint Alphonsus sites or to Boise Critical Care or Emergency Departments.

• Practices with the rules and regulations defined by the Idaho State Board of Nursing.
