Primary Responsibilities:
- Full oversight of the specialty sale to achieve health plan market sales goals and maintain profitability
- Advocate for specialty voluntary products to support increase in enrollment and size of sale and negotiate based on broker/customer feedback with underwriting; leveraging rate bank, product discount programs and packaged savings to leverage the best value to the customer

- Create and drive strategies for top specialty producing agencies and Brokers
- Collaborate with Sales Management and/or Health Plan leadership regarding pipeline, persistency, market objectives and develop competitive strategies with specific Brokers / General Agents
- Work collaboratively with AE/RAC/SAE to support sales, product and process education, and training on employer paid and voluntary specialty products. This position works collaboratively with Generalist AE on external sales calls representing ancillary product offerings
- Conduct for communication on specialty topics including marketing initiatives that AE/RAC/SAE should be promoting (i.e. product updates, bonus programs, rate cards, drip marketing, etc)
- Educates sales support on quoting plan designs & product pre-implementation
- Develop business relationships with AE/RAC/SAE as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor in order to increase specialty sales

OBGYN Generalist/Hospitalist Opportunity at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, a Los Angeles County facility and major teaching hospital for the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, is recruiting both a full-time and a part-time OBGYN generalist/hospitalist to deliver compassionate quality care for our patients. The OBGYN Generalist Division currently has 9 full-time faculty physicians, several part-time positions and advanced practice providers, and has been growing quickly. Attendings have responsibilities as primary providers and also supervise residents and medical students in the inpatient and outpatient settings. This OBGYN Generalist/Hospitalist Physician will:

This position ensures 24/7 high-quality, evidence-based care for our patients in a collaborative, team-centered environment. The OB/GYN Hospitalist (Laborist) is an inhouse, employed physician specializing in the management of inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care. Working collaboratively with a team of hospital-based providers, the Laborist delivers high-quality, efficient, & cost-effective care using evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide inpatient obstetric care, including evaluation and management of laboring patients, deliveries (vaginal and cesarean), and postpartum care.
- Triage obstetric patients presenting to labor and delivery.
- Perform and assist with surgical procedures including cesarean sections
- Collaborate with other members of the care team.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees as requested.
