Full Time Addiction Counselor - Point Pleasant, WV

We are proud to provide high-quality addiction treatment by focusing on counseling services, supported by medical treatment. Our entire staff is committed to ensuring that every patient in our program is successful in recovery.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions.
Discuss with client what their goals are for treatment, including immediate and long-term goals.
Complete needed documentation for compliance and client records in a timely fashion.
Complete the Clinical Assessment and initial treatment plan as part of the admissions process.
Use the problems identified in the Clinical Assessment to create an individualized Master Treatment Plan that will guide the client's clinical care and direction.
Create an individualized treatment plan review outlining progress in treatment and completion of objectives.
Utilize outcome surveys to make appropriate changes to the client's Master Treatment Plan based on the results.
Provide substantial client documentation through treatment plan updates, group notes, progress notes, discharge/transfer summaries and utilization reviews.
Participate in Performance Improvement initiatives, making adjustments where indicated to achieve all corrective action goals.
Participate when asked, to participate in community education and marketing initiatives
Participate in staffing meetings, trainings and weekly clinical supervision.
Adhere to all confidentiality laws and maintain ethical, professional boundaries with clients.
Assign department head roles to clients and discuss house captain notes during the morning clinical meeting.
Ensure that all weekly clinical audit items are completed in a timely manner.
Collect and approve request slips for sponsor visits, family visits, outside appointments, etc.
Any other related tasks that are assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Active LPC, LCSW or LICSW licensure within the State of West Virginia.
Addiction counseling and/or substance abuse treatment history.
Working knowledge of MS Office, email and EHR systems.
Attention to detail and completeness of all clinical notes and documentation.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

If you are considering becoming a surrogate, it is important to understand both the medical process and the emotional journey involved. Our team ensures you are fully informed, supported, and cared for throughout the entire experience.
Gestational Carrier Requirements
To ensure a safe and successful journey for both carrier and baby, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Between 21–39 years old
- U.S. citizen living in a surrogate-friendly state
- Have delivered at least one child and are currently parenting
- No more than two (2) C-sections
- Not receiving government or public assistance (including Medicaid, WIC, SNAP/Food Stamps, or state-funded health insurance)
- No history of pregnancy complications (including gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, or pre-term labor)
- No history of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, or major depressive disorder
- Not currently taking medications unsafe for pregnancy (including certain mental health medications)
- Able to travel for medical screening, monitoring, and embryo transfer appointments
- Live a healthy lifestyle free of illicit or recreational drug use
- Have a stable home environment and strong support system

Compensation & Benefits
We recognize the commitment, time, and care involved in being a gestational carrier. Compensation includes:
Base Compensation
- $60,000 – $70,000(First-time carrier to experienced carrier)
Additional Benefits
- $250 monthly expense allowance
- $500 maternity clothing allowance
- $10,500 for multiple birth
- Up to $10,000 for loss of organs (per contract terms)
- Lost wages (carrier and spouse, if applicable — based on employment verification)
- Travel reimbursement
- $200 per week for housekeeping (if medically necessary)
- $20 per hour for childcare (if medically necessary)
All medical expenses, legal representation, and services related to the surrogacy journey are covered.
