About The Role

As a CSM within Buildots, you are responsible for the onboarding of all team members on projects within your portfolio, and then the successful product adoption across multiple users within the projects. Within the organization you will be the voice of the customer, working to provide relevant and critical information to our product managers, and you'll provide user stories and wins to the account teams, helping to support the successful expansion within our key accounts. What You'll Do:

  • Provide strategic advisory services to maximize customers' adoption, implementation, and ROI from Buildots across multiple construction projects
  • Lead the relationship with our project champions to ensure they are supported by Buildots, while also being the customer voice among internal delivery pods.
  • Efficiently handle onboarding of new users, driving seamless adoption of the technology, including training of on-site users
  • Gain insights from data and the use of the system on projects and feedback to the product team to influence the product's roadmap and features.
  • Work within the customer success team to shape and refine delivery for clients by using expert knowledge. Creating and updating playbooks within the team, ensuring an ongoing legacy of Customer Success Delivery.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience as a construction professional, preferably site based (i.e., Project Manager, Superintendent, Project Engineer)
  • Comfortable with change management, ability to learn from successes and failures to help find better strategies and solutions, and ability to effectively escalate issues to management when needed
  • Proven stakeholder management and networking skills, with examples of working with senior positions alongside junior team members within your customer base
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup working environment handling multiple priorities, while maintaining high attention to detail with best-in-class service delivery results.
  • You're a proactive and independent achiever, self-learner, able to handle a task from idea to production. You're responsible for full ownership of your customers and finding creative solutions which land with your users and market.

Position Overview

As a ServiceNow Sr. Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and automating the existing infrastructure and supporting processes for the ServiceNow Platform. Your focus will be on executing and maintaining environments that support both internal and external application solutions, ensuring technologies are available and performing to meet business needs. You will define and implement technology solutions within the ServiceNow platform that align with Securian's business objectives and overall IT strategies. You will design, develop, and deploy applications within the ServiceNow platform. Collaboration with diverse business and technology teams will be essential. You will research trends impacting the ServiceNow technology platform. Finally, you will provide direction, guidance, and thought leadership to ITSM process owners to enhance their competency in leveraging CMDB, incident, problem, asset, change, knowledge, and service catalog management processes, streamlining operations.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Maintain, support, and develop the ServiceNow platform via scripting and system configurations.

  • Establish design and capability guidelines for new and existing ServiceNow features to ensure platform integrity.

  • Architect and implement integrations with ServiceNow, third-party solutions, and internally developed applications.

  • Research, recommend, design, and implement ServiceNow platform services, including workflows, ITOM, ITBM, ITSM, Performance Analytics, CMDB, and ITAM.

  • Train internal associates and administrators in the use and configuration of ServiceNow applications.

  • Own your code from design to delivery, including test automation and detailed documentation.

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve ServiceNow system issues or operational support tickets.

  • Provide rotational after-hours on-call support for ServiceNow production issues.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of engineering experience with the ServiceNow technology platform or a comparable Service Management technology platform.

  • Proficient in using ServiceNow or equivalent Service Management tools for analysis, design, development, and integration with other applications, including 3rd party software.

  • Skilled in configuring ServiceNow Discovery and Orchestration.

  • Project management and leadership skills with a proven ability to deliver outcomes on complex service management initiatives and transformations.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information and ideas at all business levels.

  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to assess customer needs, creatively approach solutions, and influence appropriate courses of action.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience deploying, implementing, administering, configuring, and/or developing solutions on the ServiceNow technology platform.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, education, and certification.

  • Broad technical experience that includes integrations and infrastructure build and support.

  • ServiceNow Administrator certification, with additional development certifications/experience (e.g., Advanced System Administration, Certified Application Developer, Application Creation).

  • Experience and understanding of web technologies, SaaS solutions, and development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

  • Experience with application integrations using technologies such as SOAP or REST Web Services, JDBC/ODBC, and flat files.

  • Experience with ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics.

  • Knowledge of Information Protection strategies (DR, encryption).

  • Understanding of data management and concepts such as data normalization, record retention, and archiving.

  • ITIL certification V3/V4.

  • Project management and leadership skills (agile preferred) with proven ability to deliver outcomes on complex service management initiatives and transformations.

$72,000.00 - $134,000.00

The UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay at appointment.

The current full-time salary range for this position is $68,247-$192,040 for academic year Lecturers and $79,167-$209,976 for fiscal year Lecturers. Salary is commensurate with prior college-level teaching experience, advanced degree(s), and related professional experience.

Percent time:
17% to 33% work effort for both residential and online education, depending on course.

Anticipated start:
Fall semester: July 1 or August 1, 2025. Spring semester: January 1, 2026.

Online education course delivery start dates: August 1, October 1, January 1, March 1, May 1, June 1.

Summer Sessions: mid-May to mid-July.

Review timeline:
When the school determines a need to hire a Lecturer, hiring committees review applications as follows:

Position description

The School of Public Health (SPH) at the University of California, Berkeley (UCB) invites applicants to a pool of qualified temporary Lecturers to teach courses in residential and online education formats. The teaching includes fall and spring classroom instruction, On-Campus/Online Master of Public Health (OOMPH) online education program, the UCB/UCSF Joint Medical Program (JMP), and Berkeley Summer Sessions. Screening of applicants is ongoing, and the number of available positions varies throughout the year.

  • Public Health is interdisciplinary in its core and breadth curriculum, both in residential and online programs, and a successful applicant will have expertise in at least one of the areas of Specializations listed.
  • Prior college-level teaching experience.
  • Professional work experience in the field of expertise.
  • Prior experience in teaching college-level medical education for the UCB/UCSF Joint Medical Program.
