Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to support a behavioral health provider and their patient panel. In this role, you will work closely with the physician to assist with patient care, medication management, and clinical support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with a behavioral health population and performing injections.
Key Responsibilities
- Take and document patient vital signs during appointments
- Assist the physician with daily patient visits and clinical needs
- Manage and process medication refill requests
- Administer injections, including Invega injections, as needed
- Support care coordination for a physician’s patient panel
- Provide compassionate care to patients within a behavioral health setting
Patient Volume
- Assigned to one physician with a panel of approximately 200 patients
- Average of up to 20 patients per day on busy days, with lighter volumes on slower days
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Comfortable working with a behavioral health patient population
- Experience or comfort administering injections
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
- Previous experience working in behavioral health
- Prior experience administering Invega injections
