Required:
- A graduate of an accredited institution of professional nursing.
- One year experience in a medical surgical or related setting.
Preferred:
- An associates or Bachelors of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- Experience in Home Care.

- Current and valid NY State Driverβs License in good standing

Job SummaryAt MVHS, a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides general nursing care to patients, families and caregivers at the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center (RNC).
LPNs play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our residents and their families. Weβre offering many opportunities for various shifts including days, nights and weekends; we offer flexible scheduling options for full-time, part-time and per-diem positions.
The Licensed Practical Nurse assists and advocates for the patient and familyβs health in support of the patient centered approach and delivery model of care, and is an active care team member. Responsible for collaborating with physicians/ providers, registered professional nurses and multidisciplinary care team members, a Licensed Practical Nurse will also perform tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health coaching, and supportive care under the direction of the registered professional nurse or licensed physician or licensed health care provider. Nursing shall be performed in accordance with the standards outlined for Licensed Practical Nurse in the NYS Education Law, NYS Office of the Professions, and by the State Nurse Practice Act. A Licensed Practical Nurse will follow the mission, vision, values, policies and procedures of Mohawk Valley Health System.
