Responsibilities

A Branch & Community Development Manager is responsible for strategic implementation of business development plans to drive branch growth and profitability, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to acquire and retain customers, and developing ongoing partnerships with internal and external business partners.

The person in this position will lead by example in the areas of community involvement, calling efforts, and customer service, including administering the Bank's strategy for achieving the annual goals and objectives relating to Loan Growth, Deposit Growth, Financial Services, Credit Administration and Business Development. As the manager of the branch, this position will maintain oversight to ensure that the branch is in compliance with operating policies and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Implement business development strategies, including calling efforts to promote the Bank's product & service solutions with emphasis on deposit growth
  • Actively participate in the community in a manner that reflects favorably on the Bank; keep the Bank's profile highly visible and professional
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, local businesses, and community organizations
  • May approve or reject loan applications within individual lending authority
  • May oversee a loan portfolio consisting of consumer and/or business customers
  • Maintain a strong knowledge base of bank policies, procedures, loan products, pricing and use this knowledge to educate prospects on the advantages of Community Bank
  • Refer applicable loan opportunities to Bank business partners
  • Collaborate with other business partners & Bank affiliates to identify referral opportunities
  • Lead in the selection of new branch personnel and support scheduling to ensure branch coverage
  • Ensure staff is trained to meet customer sales and service needs as well as branch objectives
  • Discuss individual sales and customer service performance versus objectives with the appropriate supervisor on a frequent basis
  • Monitor progress and results throughout the year with the District and Regional Managers ensuring that the branch is performing at a level consistent to achieve established growth, sales and profit objectives
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timelymanner.

Qualifications

Education, Training and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business or equivalent training preferred
  • Specialized financial services experience preferred Valid driver license, reliable transportation

Lecturer - Sustainable and Impact Finance - Haas School of Business



The Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley is generating an applicant pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach courses in the Sustainable and Impact Finance initiative (especially for the Sustainable Investment Fund and the Climate Solutions Finance course but also other courses covering material in climate and impact financial intermediation or entrepreneurial finance, public-private partnerships, and climate finance solutions), should an opening arise. The pool will remain in place for one year.

Essential Duties

Modifies and maintains CMMS data to support asset data analysis. Defines, compiles, and incorporates maintenance activities in the CMMS system. Provides guidance and support to end users in the operation, use and capabilities of the CMMS.

Coordinates with Public Works program supervisors to efficiently and accurately enter data into the system. Collects and enters asset data into the CMMS and related databases from various sources including direct field investigation; documents such as as-built drawings, invoices, and O&M manuals.

Generates standard and ad-hoc reports using the standard report structure of the asset data system, and other end user reporting tools. Fulfills requests for reports and information; works with end users to understand business processes and report requirements for assigned projects.

Performs quality control checks of asset data to ensure the accuracy of all data within the system.

Provides input to the division supervisor on system needs, the performance of asset data software and hardware, and improvements to the asset data analysis system.

Provides in-house training programs and manuals for asset management, CMMS, GIS, and other relevant software applications.

Maintains professional networks and attends training sessions and conferences as necessary to advance skills and keep abreast of issues and practices in all areas of responsibility.

Researches and makes recommendations on Asset Management and CMMS needs; monitors the performance of asset data software and hardware and recommends improvements. Serving The United Methodist Church (UMC) for over a century; Wespath cares for those who serve by providing benefits to clergy and lay employees. This also includes more than a decade of work and research examining the physical, emotional, financial, social and spiritual dimensions of the clergy who serve the UMC. Wespath recently committed to partnering with Garrett Evangelical-Theological Seminary's Faith Leadership Collaborative to lead the development of a Holistic Clergy Well-Being Hub. This work is funded by a Lilly Endowment grant recently awarded to Garrett.

In this role, you will work across the UMC to develop and implement denomination-wide strategies that promote holistic well-being within the UMC. Responsibilities include building relationships with stakeholders, gathering and sharing data, identifying and overseeing comprehensive initiatives, and fostering a culture of well-being across all levels of the Church.

Reporting to the Director of Health and Well-Being, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing a multi-year strategy for enhancing the well-being of those who serve the Church, using various types, sources, and levels of data to identify gaps, strengths, and opportunities.
  • Establishing and cultivating relationships with key church leaders and subject matter experts on well-being within the UMC and other denominations; determining how Wespath can best interact with these leaders to achieve mutual objectives around well-being and support creation of a culture within the UMC that actively supports and values the health and well-being of clergy and lay workers, aligning touchpoints at the local church, conference, agency, and denominational level.
  • Suggesting and monitoring relevant analytics to understand individual behavior and systemic factors that influence behavior and identify trends in well-being over time; leveraging data to identify gaps and needs within the denomination.
  • Overseeing development of communication campaigns across the denomination to bolster individual and systemic well-being efforts and initiatives, including delivery of presentations regarding data, strategies, and impact to a variety of audiences, including senior management and church leaders.
  • Collaborating with Wespath and UMC stakeholders to identify gaps between educational training and actual work environment and to help align expectations across multiple levels, which may include work with peer organizations via the Church Benefits Association.
  • Leading Wespath's effort in creation and execution of the Holistic Clergy Well-Being Hub for the Faith and Leadership Collaborative with Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary; collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure mutual benefit and achievement of key grant objectives.
  • Supporting the Manager, Health and Well-Being in promoting available Wespath well-being programming across the church and identifying opportunities for additional programming to meet unmet needs and align with the desires of constituencies; contributing to Wespath's ongoing clergy financial well-being efforts and strategy, including supporting upgrade and promotion of the Saving Grace program.

Salary range for the position: $70,000 - 140,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. Client Activities

  • Provide functional support to portfolio managers, traders, and portfolio administrators for Parametric portfolios and order management systems; ensuring daily activities, including client transactions, account maintenance, portfolio data reconciliation, and portfolio implementations are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

New Account Activities

  • Establish prospect accounts in Parametric's portfolio accounting system (APX) for our portfolio managers to run optimizations on the client securities and cash.

Onboarding

  • Responsible for ensuring daily new account onboarding activities, including verifying all account documentation is received and properly submitted for archiving, working with activity management teams on new account funding, setting up account feeds and other client activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Oversight

  • Perform verification checks on team's data entries to ensure accurate processing of information prior to daily trading deadlines, ensuring all account documentation is received and properly submitted for archiving

Billing

  • Understand billing attributes and client relationships that drive revenue accrual and client invoicing and review of new accounts, changed accounts, and terminated accounts

Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders and other key points of contact in a professional manner
  • Research and resolve issues quickly and with a sense of urgency and accuracy, escalating to team leaders when appropriate
