Position Description:
The OR Nurse functions as Circulator/Scrub Nurse in the Operating Room. Organizes and administers individualized, professional patient care to patients within the Operating Room. Provides nursing care in accordance with the objectives, policies, procedures and protocols of the hospital and AORN, ASPAN and SGNA standards. Participates in patient teaching; incorporates the needs and behavior of the patientβs specific age/cultural groups in planning and providing care. Participates in quality improvement activities.
The Core Operating Room (OR) provides care to a diverse group of patients across multiple surgical specialties. These specialties include general surgery, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), colorectal, oral maxillofacial, trauma, transplant, vascular access, bariatrics, urology, gynecology, thoracic, and robotics. The Core OR team is also responsible for ensuring 24/7 operating room coverage, offering staff a range of alternative scheduling options. Additionally, there are numerous opportunities for team members to engage in innovation and continued learning with new equipment and procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews OASIS assessments for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance, providing recommendations to ensure quality and reliability.
Guides staff on clinical, documentation, and utilization decisions to improve OASIS accuracy and care quality, recommending cost-effective corrections that support clinical and operational goals.
Reviews visit utilization for appropriate patient care, collaborates and consults clinicians on needed adjustments, and reports utilization concerns and financial risks to the clinical manager. Ensures timely completion of HCHB workflows and maintains a flexible schedule to support agency needs.
Collaborates to identify documentation trends, supports improvement planning, participates in quality initiatives, and helps ensure compliance and accurate data submissions across all settings.
Qualifications
Degree from an accredited educational program leading to licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Required

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Cardiac Rehab RN supervises medically prescribed exercise therapy appropriate to the patientβs age, medical and emotional/mental status. The RN provides education classes, concentrating on clientβs understanding of the cardiovascular system and heart-healthy lifestyle modifications necessary to maintain optimum health. The RN is responsible for orientation of cardiac and pulmonary patients and participating in Quality Improvement and KPIs. Assesses the patientβs condition and care needs by collecting accurate and thorough data on admission , explains the Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehab program in detail and performs six (6) minute endurance walk(s) with the patient.
Accurately identifies actual and potential nursing diagnoses and/or problems.
Assesses patient and/or family learning needs, including the ability and readiness to learn. Identifies and arranges appropriate resources to assist in the educational process.
Participates in department QI and KPIs, data collection and reporting and Policy and Procedure maintenance.
Plans nursing actions to ensure individualized patient-centered care by integrating the patient, family, and/or multidisciplinary staff assessments in order to develop a comprehensive plan of care.
Conducts education classes for the patient and significant others as per education calendar according to appropriate teaching modules and documents in the patientβs chart.
Accurately completes necessary documentation including running daily and multi-session reports according to department policy.
Assesses the patientβs response to exercise and modifies the exercise prescription accordingly as per MD orderΒ and department policy.

Position includes recovering patients from anesthesia as well as managing postoperative care, including recovery from general anesthesia, regional anesthesia and IV sedation. We are a 28 bed PACU, providing service to a variety of surgical services, such as general surgery, urology, gynecology, neurosurgery including spine surgery, plastic surgery, thoracic and vascular surgery, cardiac procedures (TAVR), bariatric surgery, colorectal surgery, ENT and OMF surgery. Also included is managing the recovery of GI advanced procedure patients as well as outpatient colonoscopy and endoscopy patients.Β We are a fast paced unit receiving patients from 40+ operating rooms and we provide service 24/7.Β ICU experience is preferred although we will consider nurses with ED, Step-down and floor level experience on an individual basis.Β ACLS certification is required for external candidates as we frequently care for ICU and step-down patients. Nurse/Patient ratio is 2:1. We are looking for candidates with a positive outlook, an open mind and a βcan-doβ attitude.

POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Practitioners are responsible for providing physical exams, psychiatric evaluations and addiction treatment including: diagnosis;Β prescribing; coordination of care, and patient education. CB2Β serves the medical oncology population of the organization and commonly includes: solid tumor cancer patients, hematological cancer patients, acute leukemia and lymphoma patients, and benign hematology patients, along with the provision of hospice and end of life care.Β The unit also services the needs of a variety of med-surg overflow patients when necessary and appropriate.
Our Nurses work in collaborative environments with strong interdisciplinary teams, focused on a patient centered care model in a richly diverse work space. Under the direction and general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the registered nurse utilizes evidence based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, policies and procedures of the hospital and as directed by the medical staff. The registered nurse who through knowledge and ability uses the nursing process to develop a plan of care which includes standards of practice to meet the physical, emotional spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patient and family.

JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Nursing manager is a Registered Nurse (RN) who has responsibility for the supervision of patient care, clinical personnel, and unit operations. This position supervises a work group to ensure that a high quality, cost-effective patient and family centered care is provided in support of the hospital's strategic plan, and the function's goals and objectives.Β
This position works collaboratively with functional leadership and is responsible for the oversight of daily operations of the assigned department including off shift and weekend supervision of nursing and non-licensed staff. This position manages resources, quality improvement, payroll, creating and maintaining colleague schedules and monitors patient throughput to facilitate efficient clinical operations. In addition, this position is responsible for a safe and therapeutic unit environment, which includes working in the department as staff RN to assist as needed. RN to assist as needed, as well as provide education to staff as needed.
This position supports leadership in ensuring standards of excellence and professional development are fostered and met. This position also participates in and may lead Performance Improvement work in their assigned department.
