Job Summary and Qualifications

The Lead Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing cardiopulmonary/pulmonary care services in routine, clinical, and emergency settings according to specific physician orders, department policies and procedures providing leadership to the staff. In the absence of the Director of Respiratory Therapy provides day to day leadership to the department, and performs a variety of management duties. Supports the delivery of high quality, cost effective patient care through activities focusing on departmental goals and objectives.
