This CNA/ Patient Care Tech opportunity is full time, offers a convenient day shift schedule. We are looking for a dynamic CNA/Patient Care Tech to provide safe, competent nursing assistant care for our patients. You will also provide professional support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Completes Bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensures patient is provided with the names and contact numbers for members of the care team on the communication board every shift.
- Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
- Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care.
- Follows facility policies and procedures to promote patient safety (i.e. safe environment, equipment safety practices, radiation safety, fire prevention, etc.).
- Adheres to fall precautions by performing/assisting patients with toileting/ADL care and never leaving the patient alone. If assistance is needed, CNA is able to ask/call or help while remaining with the patient.

This OR Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is part time, offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. Northern Nevada Medical Center is looking for a dynamic Operating Room Registered Nurse! You will provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations in the OR arena. You will address the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical and Pain Center environment. This position communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management inventory. Participates in performance improvement activities. Assesses operating room / procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met. Monitors, positions and assists patient during procedure.
