About the Role
The Part-time Assistant Events Manager will work with the Events Manager to plan and execute events hosted by the Gabelli Center for Global Security Analysis, the OβShea Center for Credit Analysis, and other organizations within the Gabelli School of Business. These events include both in-person and online conferences, panel discussions, lectures, and presentations on topics relating to the mandates of the centers and/or content that is relevant to the marketplace
Responsibilities
- Assists in booking and managing time and space for each event
- Maintains updated email lists, ensuring that names and emails of registrants are added to a continually updated database through the IT group
- Works with Event Manager to plan menus and arrange for catering as applicable
- Works with Event Manager and Marketing Team to establish and execute registration process
- Aids in planning the logistics of the event
- Helps to recruit and manage the graduate assistants who assist with the events
- Creates runs of shows that are approved by the Event Manager and the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications
- Ensures that all supplies (pop-up banners, tablecloths, signage, name tags, etc.) are organized and in a transportable state both before and after events
- Helps the Event Manager set up on-site check-in, signage, and reserved seating
- Manages creation, printing, and alphabetization of badges for attendees
- Helps to manage check-ins at events
- Provides daily reports on registration to the Event Manager and to Marketing Team members
- Attends run-throughs for onsite events and tech checks for online events
- Assists marketing staff with tasks, including the organization of advertising files during event downtime

Coney Island Prepβs Chief Schools Officer (CSO) serves as the primary thought partner to the CEO on all matters related to school management and performance. - Develop and implement a vision for school culture that strengthens learning environments, fosters a sense of belonging, and drives improved student outcomes
Collaborate and co-lead by working in tandem with the Chief Operating Officer to collectively lead all aspects of the day-to-day management and operations of our schools, including ensuring that the operational performance of our campuses is responsive to the academic and cultural needs of the school.
- Partners in lockstep with the Chief Academic Officer to collectively lead the academic performance of our schools, and to support the fidelity and implementation of academic systems and curriculum
- Meet regularly with the Chief Talent & Equity Officer to support staff development, feedback processes, and teacher evaluation systems

Develop talent by directly managing and coaching the director of after school, a team of four principals, and leading critical organizational talent development structures to support leadership and coaching.

Students are from grade levels 9th and 10th .
The tutor will work with each group several times throughout the week at a high school in Brooklyn, NY .
Groups will take place within the classroom (push-in services) or outside of the classroom (pull-out services).
Tutors should be flexible and comfortable with both settings.
Each tutor will be given the responsibility of taking daily attendance and monitoring student progress using a personal device (mobile phone).

Seeking a Chief Academic Officer (CAO) to lead the design and implementation of the instructional vision and quality across all schools in the organization. RCM Health Care Services are hiring Clinical Fellows (CFYs) that can work in a pediatric setting in all 5 boroughs of NYC to provide speech-language therapy. Our pediatric settings consist of DOE Schools and Therapy Clinics. We have full-time, part-time, and weekend work for all settings. We also have ongoing, contract, and coverage assignments available.
Experienced and new graduate providers, and providers that need sponsorship are welcomed. We have a wonderful mentorship program and clinical supervisors that are eager to assist you.
Clinical Fellowship Year Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy in a pediatric setting.
- Document session notes manually or in an electronic format.
- Complete IEP and end of the year process reports.
- Communicate therapy plan to staff members and all other necessary parties.
Clinical Fellowship Year Experience
- No experience needed - mentorship and supervision available!
- Provider needing sponsorship are welcomed.
Clinical Fellowship Year Salary
- $56-$68/hr. (depending on setting and location)
Clinical Fellowship Year Requirements
- Must have or be willing to get your TSSLD (we can help you apply for it if you don't have it).
