Job Description

The Relocation Specialist supports a HUD-funded community revitalization initiative by coordinating resident engagement, community outreach, and stakeholder collaboration. This role partners with residents, nonprofit organizations, and internal teams to advance housing, people, and neighborhood development goals. The specialist manages data collection and reporting to ensure compliance with federal requirements and represents the program within the community. This position requires strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to work independently in a community-facing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate resident meetings, community outreach events, and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Serve as a liaison between public housing residents, community partners, and nonprofit organizations
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain data required for federal program reporting and submissions
  • Assist with planning and implementation activities to ensure regulatory compliance
