Job Description

Under the general direction of nursing leadership and with provider collaboration and guidance, the Registered Nurse utilizes evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and policies and procedures of Hartford Healthcare Hospital Outpatient Departments (HODs) and Medical Group, in a variety of clinical settings. Education

•        Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Job Summary:

• Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Performs initial and on-going bio-psychosocial assessments according to accepted standards of nursing practice. Develops a nursing plan of care consistent with the master treatment plan.
