What we're looking for:

We're seeking an exceptional Staff Software Engineer to join our Observability team at Pinterest. This role combines deep technical expertise in distributed systems and data engineering with a product-oriented mindset to build world-class observability solutions that empower our engineering organization.As a Staff Engineer on the Observability team, you'll be responsible for designing and building the infrastructure and tools that provide visibility into Pinterest's large-scale distributed systems, helping thousands of engineers understand, debug, and optimize their services.

The Content Understanding team builds machine learning models that "read" Pinterest content-images, text, and video-to produce high-quality semantic signals (e.g., embeddings, localization, quality/safety labels). These signals power relevance and retrieval for Homefeed, Search, Related Pins, and Ads, and also support integrity use cases like spam and low-quality detection. We work end-to-end: from data and labeling strategy, to model training and evaluation, to low-latency serving and monitoring at Pinterest scale. The role is ideal for a senior modeler who also enjoys developing, productionizing models and leading technical direction across teams.

Role Objective:

The team works on keeping Maps Data current and reflective of real-world changes. They work on issues submitted by end users of Maps or test the location results of user queries submitted via Web Search or Maps interface. The Mapping Maintenance Expert will be responsible for improving & maintenance of city / country transit data and providing country specific expertise. The Maintenance Expert will be responsible for developing and maintaining transit data pipelines and establishing the ground truth for the countries they would be responsible for maintenance.

Role & Responsibilities as a Maintenance Expert:

Communicating with City Experts & other stakeholder teams and achieving the project objectives.

Identify transit user expectations, broken critical user journeys, data gaps and provide insights to the product.

Validate quality of new and updated data in the data management platform.

Make necessary edits for all transit data types.

Flag issues to Program Managers to communicate with the partner/provider about required data fixes or inform about problematic data areas.

Develop outages and alerts capabilities in their assigned city.

Manage city specific data pipelines through the transit data management platform, including updating pipelines using basic programming skills.

Experience / Skills:

6 months +

Graduate or equivalent experience

Good Communication skills in English - additional languages are preferred

Experience with Transit projects - GTFS knowledge preferred

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a fast-growing SaaS company embarking on a greenfield Salesforce implementation. This is a strategic and technical leadership role for a Director of Engineering who comes from a strong Salesforce development background and still enjoys being hands-on.

You will own the technical vision and execution of the Salesforce ecosystem from the ground up, building a scalable, enterprise-grade platform while leading and growing a high-performing engineering team.

This is a foundational build, not an optimization of an existing environment.

The Role

We are seeking a Director of Engineering with:

• 10+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience

• 4+ years leading engineering teams in an architectural or senior leadership capacity

• Proven experience delivering large-scale, enterprise Salesforce implementations

About the Role

This role focuses on building the experimental tooling that enables interpretability research. You will develop systems that allow researchers to inspect, measure, and manipulate internal model representations. This is not a production ML or MLOps role — it's for engineers who enjoy building new experimental systems from scratch and working closely with researchers.

Responsibilities

• Build custom RL-style environments and experimental testbeds for interpretability research
• Develop tools for activation tracing and mechanistic interpretability
• Implement probes to detect latent concepts (e.g., deception, goals, uncertainty)
• Prototype activation-level steering methods beyond prompting or fine-tuning
• Collaborate with researchers to rapidly iterate on experiments and tooling

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support both ground-up & rehab and multi-family residential & commercial projects across the Bay Area and Butte County regions. This role offers the opportunity to work with an established general contractor focused on delivering high-quality, community-driven developments including affordable housing and hotel facilities.

The Project Engineer will play a key role in coordinating project documentation, supporting field and office teams, and ensuring projects progress smoothly from preconstruction through closeout. Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience supporting construction projects for a general contractor
• Proven experience working on multi-family residential or similar vertical construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications, and submittal processes
• Proficiency with project management software platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to effectively coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and design teams

• Support the project team in planning, coordinating, and executing multi-family residential and hospitality construction projects
• Review, process, and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and related project documentation
• Assist with project scheduling, ensuring tasks and milestones remain on track
• Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain project continuity
• Prepare meeting minutes, logs, reports, and other project documentation as required
• Assist with site walks, quality control checks, and verification of completed work
• Support procurement processes, including materials tracking and subcontractor onboarding
• Help monitor project budgets and cost events in collaboration with project management
• Ensure all work aligns with safety standards, project specifications, and quality expectations
• Contribute to problem-solving efforts, proactively identifying and resolving project issues
