Your Experience and Qualifications

  • 2-7 years of experience of working in a critical facility, not necessarily a data center.
  • Given the nature of our work, technical expertise—particularly in fields such as mechanical, electrical, automation, plumbing, or manufacturing—is highly valued and closely aligned with day-to-day responsibilities.
  • An empathetic person who enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of NFPA70E, forklift, OSHA10, and/or First Aid/CPR certifications are a plus.

Your new role

As the successful Estimator, you’ll support preconstruction efforts on projects typically ranging up to $50m, handling full-scope estimating responsibilities. You’ll work alongside Senior and Junior Estimators and collaborate closely with project teams and design partners.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Preparing detailed takeoffs, budgets, and cost estimates
  • Reviewing plans, specs, and project documents
  • Leading subcontractor outreach and bid scoping
  • Supporting proposals, bids, and value‑engineering
  • Participating in preconstruction and design development meetings


What you'll need to succeed


  • 5–7 years GC experience, including 1–2 years full-scope estimating
  • Experience with multifamily and negotiated work
  • Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering
  • Strong plan reading, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work onsite in San Francisco
