Hours: Monday - Friday 8 - 5PM or 9 - 6PM

Pay: $25-33HR (dependent on years of experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize in-depth knowledge of vehicle mechanics to evaluate, investigate, and process mechanical claims with accuracy and efficiency.
• Communicate via telephone and email with vehicle contract holders, repair facilities, and other parties, providing exceptional customer service while successfully resolving claim-related requests.
• Actively listen to callers’ questions and concerns, demonstrating empathy and compassion to ensure a positive and reassuring experience.
• Adhere to all established department processes and utilize company specific computer systems to maintain detailed and accurate electronic claim-related records
• Collaborate with leaders and other claim analysts to consistently uphold the company’s reputation for honesty, fairness, and excellence in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of proven experience as an automotive mechanic or in a related mechanical field.
• A strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and the talent to clearly discuss elements of the repair process with both mechanical and non-mechanical individuals.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly and effectively articulate information to callers, colleagues, and stakeholders over the phone.
• Prior success in a customer service role including experience resolving complex requests and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction
• Technology proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Email, Teams, Outlook, etc.) and programs used for claims processing, as well as the ability to navigate multiple software systems and monitors while assisting customers on the phone.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASE certification is a plus.

Additional Considerations:

• Must be willing to work 8 Saturdays a year
• A high-speed home internet connection and a quiet at-home workspace is required for remote and hybrid schedules.

• Apply paint, varnish, stain, etc. to interior and exterior surfaces with brushes, rollers, and/or sprayers.
• Properly prepare surfaces prior to application of finish including but not limited to sanding, filling holes, and cleaning.
• Maintain shop areas, all paints and painting supplies, equipment and associated parts of the assigned trade.
• Perform preventative maintenance as needed.

• Must have hand and finger dexterity necessary to accomplish duties.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and project coordination for construction projects. As a key member of our project management team, the Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest level of quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for construction projects, including reviewing plans and specifications, preparing construction schedules, and coordinating with subcontractors
• Assist with project management activities, including developing project budgets, managing project resources, and monitoring project progress
• Ensure that all projects comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
• Manage project change requests, ensuring that changes are properly evaluated and approved
• Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to ensure that all parties are informed of project progress and any issues that arise
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with project team members to ensure that all work is completed on schedule
• Assist in the development and implementation of project plans and schedules, ensuring that all work is completed on schedule and within budget
• Identify and manage project risks, ensuring that risks are mitigated and/or avoided
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in construction project engineering or related field
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences
• Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus

• Perform various tasks related to the installation and repair of wiring and electrical fixtures.
• Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Connect power cables to equipment.
• Rest continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components.
• Repair faulty equipment or systems.
• Maintain shop areas, spare parts areas, storage areas and inventories of materials, equipment and associated parts of the trade assigned.
• Follow all safety and OSHA requirements and building codes at all times.

The Role We Want You For

As an MEP Project Manager with SEI, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical, electrical, process (MEP), and associated construction scopes for Clayco projects. This includes the development of comprehensive MEP scope documents, the creation of MEP bid packages in the early stages of project planning, and leading subcontractor negotiations. This role will also involve providing leadership and guidance to both the design team and clients, ensuring effective document reviews, and addressing scope modifications during the construction phase. You'll serve as the key liaison between the original scope and any field adjustments that arise. Additionally, the MEP Project Manager will supervise and coordinate the efforts of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and elevator subcontractors on-site, ensuring the successful, on-time, and on-budget completion of projects. This includes ensuring that construction work aligns with the project drawings and specifications, maintaining high standards of quality, contract compliance, change management, and scheduling.

The Specifics of the Role

• Plans, and specification analysis, MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing and project schedule.
• Facilitate problem solving, as may arise, between MEP Subcontractors during construction.
• Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions.
• Manage the MEP submittals.
• Oversee the logging and posting of all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings.
• Oversee the scope review, budgeting, and justification of MEP change work order.
• Oversee quality control process of the installation of MEP work.
• Work with Project management team to direct, monitor and oversee the activities of MEP Subcontractor.
• Coordination and administration of MEP related materials, systems, and shop drawings submittals.
• Liaison with consultant MEP engineers, inspectors, and relevant staff.
• Ensure that MEP subcontractors provide and adhere to relevant quality documentation and records.
• Ensure that MEP Subcontractors adheres to project safety regulations.
• Assist with project planning – hosting coordination meetings, writing work scopes, getting quotes, scheduling work.
• Train and mentor junior members. Encourage training and development through performance management with a focus on retention.
• Provide technical input related to contract drawings and documents.
• Contribute to weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 6-10 years of experience in the managing MEP projects/scope.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skill to manage multiple trades and personalities.
• Working knowledge of architectural, structural, civil documents to understand how the mechanical/electrical systems are integrated into the building.
• Good understanding of Specifications Divisions and navigation within for coordinating responsibilities, various testing and documentation requirements of the project.
• Understanding of Codes for Building, Plumbing, NFPA (fire, electrical, etc.), Mechanical, and Life Safety systems.
• Strong working knowledge with computers, laptops, iPad type instruments, Microsoft Office Suite, various construction industry applications.
