The facility is a Level II Trauma Center in Orange Park that requires vascular surgery coverage under ACS/FDOH certification standards. The hospital provides comprehensive trauma services with dedicated nursing staff and support personnel available for consultations and surgical procedures. The facility operates with Meditech EMR and maintains the necessary equipment and protocols to support quality trauma care and vascular surgical interventions.

This region of Florida offers diverse coastal attractions with opportunities for outdoor recreation and wildlife viewing. The area features multiple beach destinations and recreational facilities, with spring months from March to May providing optimal weather conditions for year-round activities and regional attractions.

The vascular surgeon will provide comprehensive 24-hour call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM at a Level II Trauma facility in Orange Park, Florida. The clinician will be responsible for vascular consultations and surgical procedures as they arise, working with nursing staff and support personnel when cases require intervention. Board certification in vascular surgery is required along with a clean license. Coverage is required under ACS/FDOH for Level II Trauma Certification compliance. The position utilizes Meditech EMR for patient documentation and requires securing daily coverage until an agreement is reached with the community physician group.
