Overview
In accordance with Mercy’s policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations, this role provides professional nursing care to patients within the LPN or RN scope of practice. The position supports and operates under the direction of physicians while upholding the Mercy Mission, Values, and Service Standards. The nurse collaborates with healthcare team members to meet the individual needs of each patient.
Responsibilities
· Answer triage calls and document patient communications in the Epic EMR; coordinate follow‑up with physicians and return calls within established timeframes.
- Communicate with patients regarding surgical and clinic procedures, pre‑operative and post‑operative appointments, and test results in accordance with physician instructions.
· Escort patients to examination rooms; obtain and review medical history, chief complaint, and vital signs.
- Prepare patients for physician examination and ensure safety throughout the visit.
- Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Perform clinical procedures specific to the specialty e.g. Urodynamics testing, Indwelling catheter placement, Trial of Void, Post-Void Residual, Intermittent self-catheterization education.
- Follow universal precautions and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment per sterile processing standards.
- Manage proper handling, storage, and tracking of medications and medical equipment.
- Administer intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal injections.
- Clean and restock examination rooms, including preparing necessary equipment and supplies.

Qualifications
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Knowledge of the principles and skills needed for nursing, care, examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures. The Slot Utility Technician is responsible for providing superior guest service to both internal and external guests while creating Magical and Memorable Moments. The Slot Utility Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on slot machines and other related equipment.
Qualifications
- Maintains a positive attitude at all times while supporting the policies of Senior Management of the Casino as well as Senior Management of Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles.
- Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards; show commitment to Team objectives; be aware of Guest Satisfaction scores and work to achieve these goals as a team. Show interest in staying well informed about the department and the property.
- Follows a designated EGD machine cleaning program and ensures all machines are cleaned and maintained per designated schedule.
- Effectively communicates status of EGD’s or other related gaming equipment with on-coming and out-going shifts, as well as immediate supervisor.
- Assist casino guests with general questions concerning Ameristar Casino Resort – St. Charles; while also creating Magical and Memorable Moments.
- Performs other duties as assigned by department leader.

Trustpoint.One has partnered with a nationally recognized employer, with offices in St. Louis, in their search for licensed attorneys, with prior litigation experience, to join an existing and growing team. This is a great opportunity to join a long-term, open-ended project that will involve:
- In-depth claims review, including reviewing all records and information necessary to assess the claim.
- Preparing a Claim Summaries and Medical Chronologies that includes a general calculation of damages to review with managing counsel.
- Contacting claimant’s counsel to initiate settlement negotiations after receiving authorization of the appropriate settlement range for that claim from managing counsel.
- Requesting a settlement check and drafting necessary settlement agreement, if a settlement is reached, or requesting a denial letter, if the claim cannot be settled.
- Performing necessary follow-up and detailed status record keeping while working through these claims.

Requirements include:
- Must be a Member, in good standing, of at least one US State Bar
- Prior experience working on litigation cases, including clerkships and paralegal experience, and/or claims review experience is required
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented
- Successful candidates must complete the process to secure a government security clearance before starting this project
- Pay rate: $30/hour; 40 hours per week (which you can work in a 4 day week if desired)
- Must reside in the St. Louis area and be able to work in the office in St. Louis on a hybrid basis
- All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
