We are seeking a hands-on Senior VMware Horizon (Omnissa) and vSphere Engineer. This person will be tasked with operating, maintaining, and enhancing VDI and core VMware compute infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and operate VMware Horizon (Omnissa): connection servers, UAG, Horizon Agent, pool/image lifecycle, session troubleshooting.
- Design, implement, maintain and upgrade VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, clusters, DRS, HA, vMotion).
- Lead Horizon-related tasks: image/template management, instant/linked clones, FSLogix/profile integration, performance tuning.
- Migrate, validate and manage VDI backups and DR procedures; perform recovery tests.

Required Qualifications
- 5-8+ years administering VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) in enterprise environments.

- Strong knowledge of vSphere features: clusters, DRS, HA, vMotion, Host Profiles, storage policies.
- Experience with Horizon image lifecycle, instant/linked clones, and profile management (FSLogix or equivalent).
- Scripting/automation skills: PowerCLI/PowerShell required.
- Proven troubleshooting of VDI session/connectivity and platform performance issues.
- Familiar with backup/restore and DR for virtual environments.

The Enterprise Applications and Core Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation, governance, and ongoing support of enterprise software solutions, with accountability for both project delivery and operational support. This role manages initiatives from concept through production and works closely with cross‐functional business and technology teams to ensure successful outcomes. Qualifications:
